Aw, nuts, another loss!” Robert yelled as he threw his cards down. This has been his third straight loss at this card game, and of course, another pile of his chips lost. And he came to this casino to relax.

“U-um, sir, do you want to keep playing? You are really holding up the line and they way you…”

“Of course I’d keep playing! How am I gonna win back my chips? Now deal me in, you bimbo!” he yelled at the dealer.

The dealer, with her angelic face, began the game and handed the cards over to Robert. His face lit up when he saw the cards he was dealt with, because there really only was one hand that could beat a 20 in blackjack… only for the dealer to reveal a queen and an ace in their opening hand. That was the last straw. “What the heck?!” he yelled as he slammed his fist on the table “I get a good hand, and you draw just the exact hand needed to beat it?”

“U-um, t-that’s just how the game goes, Sir…”

“You rigged this deck, didn’t you? That’s why I keep losing games! Yeah, that’s it! You’re cheating!”

“B-but, I-I didn’t….”

“I need to talk to your manager about this…”

“That would be me,” a female voice said behind Robert. Turning around, he saw a lady with orange-colored hair clad in a black suit. “I was just passing by and couldn’t help overhearing. Are you accusing Pri, our dealer here, of rigging your hands?”

“Yes, I was! That’s got to be the explanation why I was losing!”

The lady merely sighed. “Come with me in the office, Sir” she said before she turned her back to him. Robert followed suit. Once they arrived in the office, the lady closed the door. “So. You’re saying that the dealer in your table is cheating. Why is that?”

“Well, simple. She always had the perfect hand to beat mine. That’s enough proof that she was cheating!”

The lady sighed. “Has it not occurred to you that you could just have been unlucky?”

“But, four games in a row… there’s gotta be something fishy…”

“Robert,” the lady called out, which surprised him, since he didn’t remember telling her his name, “I have had many people like you in my casino. Always quick to dismiss their bad luck as cheating.”

Was it just him, or did the room just become darker all of a sudden? “W-what..”

“Card games are all about luck, mister. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose. Once you accept that, you’ll have more fun playing them. Isn’t that right?”

“Y-yeah, I guess…”Robert replied, as if in a trance. If he wasn’t in a trance, he’d notice that a dark mist was forming around him, and his body was slowly becoming more feminine in shape.

“Excellent! Now, you’re not going to think too much about losing right? After all, games are all about fun. Correct?”

“Yes, of course!” Robert replied, not noticing that his voice was now different, or that his hair was changing color.

“Very good. Now, get out there and play to your heart’s content. Have fun, okay?”

Pri sighed as she settled down on her seat. Another customer just left her table in a huff. “At least this one didn’t get angry enough to try and hit me” she thought. “Hey, cutie!” The dealer turned around and gasped at whom she saw. It was a purple and black catgirl, clad in a black suit, and she was giving her a mischievous look. Pri didn’t say anything as the girl took a seat in front of her. Putting a few chips on the table, she said “Well, what are you waiting for? Deal me in”
