Rhaeash [mine/chi's] with Asura [Chi's] discussing things while exiting one of many restaurants on the station as 2 Qorroc's pass by, one is lost and the other is happily texting a pal.

it's quite a large setting actually and has been a load of work just to get to this stage. originally i wanted to paint the chars too since the entire bg is also lineless/painted buuut no

anywho, I made the floor assets for this after doing the initial perspective sketch and all, as well as the door assets--so I'll be able to reuse those textures again at a later date

some details:

atmosphere scrubbing plants

LED striplights for the station during its "night" cycle

real drake language in the real drake font in the bg depicting arrivals

2 very special feathers in rhaeash's hair

part of the map pamphlet is in yiddish 

I put napkin dispensers because I thought it made sense

other easter eggs:

Auril's [the tan female in the pic w/teal hair bead] famous hair bead made it into Rhaeash's mane as did some classic granny pearls in her cheek fluff

asura's hair accessories are gifts from Rika

woops forgot to say the origin of this scene..PEELA IS GROOMING MY EYEBALLS SO ...

I was ORIGINALLY making it an alleyway in a space station and an ezrael scene--I sketched ez 2x but wasn't feeling it [shes 2 huge damnit] so I replaced her with the 3 FG chars and it felt a lot better. plus asura has ALWAYS been a main story-line character and Rhaeash is as well though in a sub character role. she's still quite important both politically and in the scientific community.
