Hey everyone, hope you summer started well! I'm dead busy with other things besides Minecraft right now but I will not let this update slip. I'm really excited about it since I've been experimenting with first complex tree models years ago. Although it's still very challenging to avoid the limitations I've obtained enough knowhow to be able make this a reality now.

Unfortunately when it comes to realtime foliage the downside and one of the biggest challenges is always performance. So I have to keep the balance as always to make it as performant as possible but at the same time avoid compressing mesh quality too much. With this I will advise you to be rational with foliage placement as it can quickly start snowballing frames away. We must not forget we're all running this on Minecraft Java engine after all.

As before I will make new trees procedural, to achieve natural and randomized output. I will probably stick with one tree type which is fir. This takes a lot of time and I'd rather finish one tree type with more quality than making multiple rushed ones. This tree will have a great number of procedural variations anyways.

I will still compensate the rest with a type or two of random ground plants.

These are all a raw wip and will be a thing of change once the update is released!

You have to go to the latest two posts to get the download. All older links are taken down because I can't host so many versions on a cloud.
