Other random Good Omens thing to possible react to. A short scene about Aziraphale opening his book shop, written by the Good Omens authors and then animated by a fan: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x46kqU7_g1E

Is there anything Aziraphale could offer you in exchange for attending the Whickber Shopkeepers Association Meeting?

Very random question - Do you think there's any chance Maggie's a demon? Because they emphasized here that demons have trouble with spelling, and they also made a point in S2E1 that Maggie spelled "urgency" wrong.

In this episode Aziraphale tells Nina that Crowley will be back and will have a plan. When she asks him why he doesn't make his own plan, he says that he is, but that "rescuing me makes him so happy". This definitely hints that at least some of the times in the past when he's needed help - for example, miracling the paint off his coat in S1 - are mostly him playing at being in "distress" so Crowley can rescue him. We also see with the whole "Ball" thing, that Aziraphale's first instinct with romance is to try and play it out the way it works in books. It certainly explains a lot about the scene in the Bastille where Aziraphale got himself dressed to the nines in order to eat crepes. It's heavily implied that Aziraphale set up this rescue just to get Crowley to come rushing to his rescue. He does seem awfully disappointed that Crowley miracles his chains off so fast. Makes me wonder if perhaps he would have liked a bit of ravishing while he was all "chained up" and at Crowley's mercy. Despite his claims about being limited on miracles, he does one immediately after Crowley shows up and they agree to go to lunch.

asking this here bc it semi-relates to this episode, and i hope i've made it in time if you're answering questions at the beginning of the next episodes reaction - but what do you think the other shopkeepers think crowley is to aziraphale? we got hints of it with nina this episode. it's just very funny to think about especially as aziracrow (their other ship name, if you were unaware) have been - at least on crowley's end - oblivious to it all this time. like, this strange grumpy man just follows him around all the time and hangs around the bookshop on a regular basis and no one has ever really questioned who he is to aziraphale. did they all just assume, like, nina did, that they were together?
