Am I alone in thinking Edwina is having moments of being a brat... And vindictive. Kate has been nothing but respectful of her sister and putting her interests above her own. But Edwina is throwing it all back in her face and is choosing to believe Kate's plan was to always humiliate her 😒

i think edwina is completely valid in being upset and angry with kate bc it isn't just her feelings for anthony that kate hid from her and she feels as though she's been used, but yeah, it does border on bratty behaviour at times. i def think she was unnecessarily cruel to kate (partiuclarly with the "half-sister" comment) and didn't really want to hear kate's side of things properly in her anger

I'm mixed, my brains initial feeling is that she is being vindictive and WAY too harsh. But then when I think of how public it all happened and how she was trying so hard to get them to be friends, only to find out they had feelings for eachother. I think, direction wise, it would have been better to have added a tiny bit of her being more confused on her feelings rather than full on anger, atm it feels a little too much.

Exposing the political radical story rather than hanging out with Theo was actually the better option for Eloise. It could be explained away with her being led astray, it’s fixable. However, the ton already sees lower class men as lesser, therefore more willing to take liberties with a woman. So if the ton found out Eloise was around him unchaperoned and regularly, not only would she have besmirched her reputation by associating with the lower class, her reputation of “purity” and being untouched as an unmarried woman would be gone. That’s a ruin she can’t recover from.

Tbh I think Edwina is kinda valid in her reasons. We all love Kate and Anthony and know that they didn’t mean to hurt Edwina, but they hid a HUGE truth from her. They never gave her the dignity of choice until forced to, knowing that once she married Anthony she would be locked in for life because there’s no divorce. Aside from that, Kate, while she doesn’t mean to, is quite controlling. There are moments where Edwina would say things and Kate would say “no, THIS is what you think”. I have to question how often that happened to Edwina while she was growing up. She’s questioning her own sense of self and trying to figure out what she actually wants vs what was impressed upon her by Kate. So if she lashes out so soon after the whole thing blew up publicly, I can’t really blame her.
