(Definitely in my top 5 episodes of Merlin.) My question about this one is: I feel like this was such a fundamental episode for Arthur, with him finally facing his father and saying “I love and respected you, but I have to rule the kingdom *in my own way*” Do you think this was a moment that Arthur needed to finally “let go” of his fathers ways? How do you think this will change Arthur in the future episodes now that he’s had this kind of closure?
