Honestly so sad to be finished with this show, really happy with how they ended everything off though, great storytelling!

I think Will and his bandage is just so they didn't have to make it look like he was missing two fingers lol. It has been there for a WHILE though. I tried googling why the angel died, and apparently he dies differently in the book. However, because angels are made of dust, it seems that (in the show at least) they can choose to die, and become one with the world again or whatever, and he probably wanted to get back to his love. As for the daemons being in love, if you recall in the season 1 finale when Mrs. Coulter and Asriel see each other at the mountain before he goes through the window, while he is trying to get her to go with him, you can see their demons interacting and nuzzling with each other

That definately would have eaten into the budget if they had to cgi his fingers every time, I just dread to think the sheer amoutn of infections he could get using that same bandage 😂 And OH YEAH, I really like that idea, make me wonder if there is any basis for 'soulmates' in their universe considering souls themselves can literally interact

I find it so funny that these books are often talked of as "kid's books" because Lyra is so young at first. I read them as a kid and they DEVASTATED me. I can't say that they don't devastate me now at 30. There is a sequel trilogy where Will isn't talked of much by Lyra, but one sentence in particular about him is one of the saddest I've ever read.
