147 Gembrite City (Patreon)

First of all I'd love to thank all the new subscribers to this website. you guys rock. I feel confident you will enjoy all the original content I illustrate and write.

Now this illustration and lore was commissioned by a patron and good friend Anthony Ellwood. The city was settled on top of a coastal cliff, facing a mysterious tower almost a mile tall. After centuries, the tower is still unexplored. Any explorer is never seen again. The city's main export is a special type of gem called Starlight gem. Hence the city's name.

It is ruled by a lord of the d'Quarend family. His actions only superseded by a unanimous vote by the Heraldry Council. I've also included NPC descriptions for 6 interesting people in the city. Feel free to use this lore or steal/rehash any that you find insightful.

I've also included a version of the illustration with no tags so that you can write your own in your image editor of choice. Notice that Silver Sextant patrons (3+ dollars) have access to photoshop files and can make this modifications in an easier way through PS.
