254 The Town by the Corrosive Lake (Patreon)

Would you live by the lake? probably yes. Would you live there if the town were remote enough almost no visitors came? maybe. But would you live there if the lake water were acidic enough to kill a person in seconds? Hell no...

But some folks call this place their home. They have ways to neutralize the acid in the water for drinking and are good enough fishermen to sustain the community. Oh, did you hear about the only gnome in town who is building a submersible vessel in order to find and solve the acidic situation of the lake? The only problem is that no one dares riding the submersible to the bottom of the lake, not even the gnome who built it. But there sure will be a grandiose reward for the people who solve this problem.
