620 A Pound of Zircons - Level 5 Adventure (Patreon)

Denizens of the Tower! In A Pound of Zircons, a group of level-5 adventurers comes across a strange runic sequence for a circle of teleportation. The portal brings them to the forgotten tomb of Count Harald, a wealthy man who died a long ago and whose hidden treasure was never found. All of this is common knowledge.

Upon exploring the underground compound, the characters discover that the count's greed led him to hide all of his treasure, a diamond hoard, so that none could have it, even after his death. The tomb is protected by eternal guardians, foul enchantments, and terrible traps. Worst of all is the fact that the diamonds aren't even in the tomb. As a final mockery, the late count left only a pound of zircons.

This is a level-5 adventure with a fair amount of dungeon-crawling, confrontations with forces from beyond the veil, and a thwarted treasure-hunting quest that may lead the characters to a hoard of countless diamonds!
