736 The Grim Creation (D&D 5e + Shadowdark) (Patreon)

Denizens of the Tower! In The Grim Creation, the heroes are about to begin their lives as adventurers. The heroes grab their gear and leave town looking for a spontaneous thrill on the road, or perhaps they were already hired and are on their way to their objective. Either way, they stumble upon Mr. Gibbs's home. He is a former surgeon who lives his last days as a fisherman with his son Perry. Sadly, evil sahuagin took Perry's life not so long ago. In his obsession to see his only son again, he turned to necromancy...  

In this level-0 adventure, the heroes encounter the first instance of the power of necromancy in their adventuring careers. This shall be the first obstacle in their hopefully long adventurer lives. Do they have what it takes to be a hero?
