What's up, homies! The end of the LOKI Season 2 is finally here. A stellar wrap-up for another great season that leaves us asking so many questions about this character's future in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

All I want to know is whether or not Howard the Duck is officially MCU canon. This finale seemingly establishes basically every Marvel movie ever in the multiverse including the Spider-Verse films, but there are so many other films, from all the Fantastic Four movies, the various Punisher films, the X-Men film franchise, Daredevil and Elektra, Man-Thing, the TV Dr. Strange movie, the Ghost Rider movies, the old Captain America movies, etc. There's so much to draw from. Hell, I wouldn't mind seeing Lou Ferrigno reprise his role as THE Hulk from the 70's series in a cameo role. Maybe even get the Japanese Spider-Man in live action again. Or... Italian Spider-Man.

YESSS!!!! Rewatch on deck after dinner!

I don't know that I want this Loki to meet the 616 Thor since this isn't HIS Thor nor this Loki the late Loki. That being said, I could see THIS Loki pull Thor's daughter out of "trouble" and be all, "I am Loki of Asgard and I welcome you...Thorsdotter." After all, like their father before them, Thor adopted the child of his enemy. I think it could be cathartic, and a lil mischievous, to send her back to Thor with stories of his youth & follies - all told while keeping her safe.

What a watchalong! Noticed the top of the tree had sparks of purple and blue at the ends. That's all the Kang Wars and Incursions. Also what's amazing is that Loki now has the vision to see all, like Heimdall did, but see much more across the multiverse obviously.

mya!

I'd love to see in another film or season people like Mobius or Sylvie being able to physically go see Loki as as he builds/rebuilds the citadel, or even others as the kang war eventually happens. the time stone is green, after all!

So boys let me know what you think about this theory.... The MCU we have experienced so far.. after the events of the Endgame, where Loki was plucked from the sacred timeline because he stole the tesseract, has taken place AFTER this show. Since this all essentially happened outside of time. And because the Loom is no longer destroying timelines we get Andrew Garfield and Tobey coming into Spider-man. We get Multiverse of Madness.. we get everything. But like HWR said... we are going to get a war. Kang Dynasty is coming.

Thurrak

Also on the point of Mobius at the end there. I don't think he is sad that he can't go back... I think him seeing himself there has given him comfort because that is actually his FUTURE SELF.. because he knows that with the TVA he can return at any time. But for now he is just going to watch, and maybe in a hundred or so years he will return back to his timeline and be there with his kids like he sees here.

Love the reaction the series is just incredible, what growth for Loki to embrace his glorious purpose. I believe this next multiversal war is going play out differently with the heroes winning because it's Loki in charge of the timelines, so he'll learn to influence them to give the heroes the edge when needed. At least i hope.

Coming back and watching this with you. The center of Loki's headpiece looks like He Who Remains watch.

This episode was pure perfection.

Can't wait to watch this after work.

Loki's green magic rejuvenating all the vines... The Time Stone is the same color. Almost as if Loki has been this Guardian of Time for all time, always.

panacamanana

The moment he states "let time pass" guts me everytime. He's finally living in the moment. It's so well done. Owen killed it with that scene.

KPDubbs71

Oh goodness, I am going down my own rabbit hole... Loki at the end of time, used the time stone to show Strange the ONE future that needed to happen, that is also the ONE future where the Avengers go back to 2012, the ONE future that sets up an opportunity for a Loki to branch and become a very specific variant.

Maura Lee

Looking forward to watching your reactions to this amazing finale!

Thurrak

IS THIS WHY THEY CHANGED THE TIME STONE TO GREEN?? It was orange in the comics... o.O

Thurrak

This is what I thought too, perhaps the entirety of the MCU this entire time is us watching it as if Loki is already controlling the TVA. Is Thor talking about Yggdrasil the world tree in Thor 1 actually him referring to this tree Loki created? The fact that this entire 2 seasons takes place "outside of time" means any of this could be true technically right?

Theo Harris

It is interesting that Loki met He Who Remains at the end of time and Thor interacted with Eternity the embodiment of the living universe, who was there near the beginning.

Corey Strable

Just a perfect finale. Watching it a 2nd time cranks up the emotion 10x.

Thurrak

Yea i've watched it 3 times now. And Tom's performance just gets better and better with each rewatch, you can see all the little emotions he is struggling with it's amazing to watch.

Crowned Cryptid

I love the sort of time travel gimmick this show used, having Loki live countless lifetimes to achieve a goal, failing and failing over and over. Learning the dark truth that his effort might lead to nothing. It was so well executed, and seeing a character have that kind of perseverance will always inspire me! 😄

PhoenixMercury

Off topic but hope you guys can start X-Men season 4 soon. Leaks suggest X-Men 97 is coming out in January!

Mark T Howard

Ragnarok was effectively resolved when Surtur destroyed Asgaard. It essentially freed the Asgardians from that destiny.

Erich Bomke

Would be hilarious if Thor went back to that old temple area at the end of Love and Thunder with the big heads, and there is a giant Loki head there.

Martin

A week of no content? I think you guys need to work on a schedule. I remember when you posted 3-4 videos per week. Maybe you view it as a donation to support whatever content you get around to. I can’t really justify a fixed monthly subscription for that. Peace and love.

Erich Bomke

Everything alright guys? Anyone that uses twitter see any news?

Roman Penna

That was an amazing finale - I loved that ending. Loki the god of stories is perfect. So beautiful
