Shadow of the Moon - Ferlynn Tales Chapter 1 (v.0.2) (Patreon)

Hello Hello again! :)

Okay. I split this post into two chapters so people can decide if they are interested or not into "details". First: Content updates and stuff

I added for 0.2:

- 5 Sex Scenes (loops)
Mainquest+Optionalquests: IsharixLejana Handjob, IsharixLejana Blowjob, KyristanaxFerlynn Standing Sex1, KyristanaxFerlynn StandingSex2,
Sidequest: "Secret" Sexscene DraeneiguardxNightelf
-again with dialogue, sound and stuff ( i hope you like the "blowjob-throatjob sounds :3)
-World changed a bit to increase fps :D
-a bunch of Npc's in the village with a "secret" + dialogue
-Implemented "pause" menü with options
-Shift-Run also implemented on Lynn. So baseline you "Walk", when you press Shift you will run!
-Introduced sligthly the blackdragon lady "noxyria"

So ... i hope i did not miss to much....hard to remember anything. Ehm. Oh...yes. I know there is a bug with Kyristana's hair...the hair will "Fix" itself after you speak with her
Aaaannnd...i know there are weird Shadow/lightning(some translucency)...eh...Artifacts? I...don't know right now...! Just...eh..take it for now like it is <.<

IF you have FPS- problems...( i really really tried to fix it as good as possible), please press "P" or "Esc" go under Options and use for example Low Shadows(No shadows) or other options. This can help to increase the FPS a lot if your machine cannot handle it!

And now the part where i will just give you more information. This is the part you do not need to read if you are not interested :3

I swear...to fucking Elune...this Programm drived me crazy over the last weeks. I raged so much you cannot even imagine! I wanted to bring out the update a way faster but...*puke* , after i worked nights after nights and  did the animations...the sounds, the coding i was happy that it looked like i was able to make it fast...but...as soon as i added the stuff and started to test ...i discovered HUGE fps drops. Below 10 sometimes below 5 fps. Unplayable even for an "-Sex-Dialogue-Comedy-Thirdpersongame" where you do not need to play "fast".
So i started to search for the issues. I reduced grass density, deleted objects, some npc's, i added LOD (level of details) on nearly anything, Sublevels... and so much more....just to get more FPS.
Nearly no change. Sometimes...It was fine. 30-40 fps. Sometimes 5...after WEEKS...i realized....MY FUCKING VR-HEADSET SOOOOMETIMES not even everytime...ACTIVATED ITSELF ...and SUCKED the GPU nearly dry.
So i realized. Probably the whole work was useless, all the deleted objects are maybe not that huge in terms of FPS. Anyway...i moved forward..."happy" to see it's playable now in terms of FPS.
After that i jumped into new issues. First Shadows/Lightning/Transluceny Artifiacts. I swear i have no clue...I tried so fucking much to fix it...after a couple of days only trying stuff out to fix it i gave up. I just don't know why there are some Artifiacts.
After that....i "Beta-tested" the version by myself and realized:"Why..in the fuck...are Kyristana's hair bugging through her body?", and after you spoke with her and saw the Sexscenes the hair is fine? I raged. I tried, but either Physics assets or other stuff "did" this weird clipping so i decided: Fuck this. I cannot push days into this shit. So for now...soorrrry...!

So...a lot of troubles. BUT the good thing is, i learned a lot and i know...next time i need soloutions for a couple of things. I will probably end this "Chapter" faster than i wanted because i will run into memory/FPS problems with the amount of stuff. The Hair allone cut's a way to much power and every new NPC / Charackter will bring me into the "bottleneck" where either the Streammemoryspace is full or the fps will drop hard.

So much to learn...but hey...! For an experiment i thing i already achived a lot. Yes i might not be the bext animator right now but....in terms of everything combined i think i did a good job so far!
