Yall need to check out the dub while you wait for the next season. It was really this episode that cement just how funny the dub was on top of the visual gags the show already has. Maybe if I was a native Japanese speaker it would be just as funny but the dub just flows so much better. Plus every episode already comes dubbed which is crazy

That cliffhanger was diabolical I love that Okarun and Jiji are becoming homies, it’s even sweeter that Momo helps facilitate the bromance. I seriously can’t for July to come around to get back to this wonderfully looney and endearing series. It’s so good.

I agree with you Sam, the way this series is able to flip tones so effortlessly is jarring,in a good way. One minute you could be laughing at something completely ridiculous, next you can be awwing over something very sweet and the next moment you can get the heebie-jeebies of looking at something very creepy. The smooth tone shifting is one the many elements that make this show great.

The song they sing is a reference to slam dunk ending ''Anata Dake Mitsumeteru'' it even has the whistle sound and the sound of sneakers even though they are wearing socks haha

The choice of cliffhanger is their one misstep with this adaptation. I get that there weren't many good stopping points for this episode count but bookending the season with attempted SA of Mom is crazy and leaves a bad taste. Especially since this scene in the manga is mid-chapter and doesn't get nearly so much emphasis compared to this.

I know the season will be continuing in July, but leaving at this moment just feels unfinished. Not to mention not resolving the uncomfortable SA that they leave Momo in…it’s a frankly rough place to end this section of the story on. Not a fan, but it’s otherwise a 10/10 show

Yeaaah this cliffhanger was definitely a bad choice imo especially because (idk if this is a slight spoiler) they made it seem like much bigger of a deal than it actually is... Just leaves a bad taste in your mouth after such a great first season

I otherwise loves this season and science Sarus adaption but choosing this for a season finale cliffhanger... is extremely questionable. Like it was already a stupid uncomfortable thing to happen in the Manga. But you just turn the page and it's resolved and you don't have to dwell on it so much. But ending the season on it is wild. Such a bad note to go out on. And bad taste to leave in our mouth for 6 months

It's been a while since I read it, and i could be forgetting something but yeah, I believe there's little to no momo in compromising positions after this incident. Just a shame they put this incident on blast instead of toning it down

Gotta be honest...episode 12 wasn't that great. I still think it's anime of the year but the last episode was a big miss. (edit: pressed enter half way through typing lol)
