Carey tried her best to comfort him. As the loudspeaker advised the waiting passengers that it was time to board, she playfully elbowed Nicholas in the ribs.

“Are you ready to go home?” she asked. Nicholas nodded. “Well, let’s get the fuck out of here,” she replied.

Thanks Casey & Team! Can’t wait to listen ❤️

There’s a good documentary about this story that I won’t name as it may be a spoiler. Fascinating case!

K. Smith

I remember when this happened - I was a teen in Louisiana, at the time. I learned so much for your excellent episode. I recall people were so hard on the family because they didn't know it was an imposter, but I think families of missing children want them home so badly that they will believe even against all logic.

Julian DiLorenzo

I won't go into detail for spoilers, but the perpetrator disgusts me.

Stacy Claflin

These new ones are great - both ended up far from what I expected!

Olive

I’d never heard of this. Thanks!!

Haley

YESSS so happy I decided to join. I love y’all

Natalia Lucano

This and the one before are SO GOOD! They're just like the ones from the beginning of case file. Did you guys get a new writer or something? These are so engaging and interesting!! Thank you!!! So glad I stuck with case file even though they were getting a bit ordinary.

Mariya Cassin

Great episode. One small nitpick, I believe you referred to the agent at one point as Nancy Parker, instead of Nancy Fisher.

Rhys Halliwell

Wish I hadn’t watched the documentary already.

MM

Very interesting. Very well done as usual.

Michael Brodie

An absolutely fascinating story starring a cavalcade of complete losers

Leah Budd

Excellent episode! Case File has come back this year with a bang!

Anna Burchfield

The documentary associated with this ep is one that has always unnerved me a little. The story is wild, that's for sure. Great take on this, Casefile team!

Maya George

This is WILD. I don’t want to give any spoilers, but for this to happen. It’s just wild. Who would do this, apart from the person who actually did it. I feel for the family, who I’m sure were filled with all kinds of emotions and then the last line of the episode?? My whole body just ‘dropped’ :(

Captain Flint

Great episode - the documentary on this is absolutely brilliant!

matthew oakley

I think Jason killed him mum just didn't want to admit it. Jason's death was super suspiciously timed

Telma M

Casefile is absolute 🔥 in 2021 so far!!! Another episode that kept me guessing until the end and made me whisper “what the fuuuuuuck” to myself multiple times.

Ruth Tilleard

This was an incredible episode. Well done guys!!

Fran Batchelor

‼️**SPOILER** ‼️ According to Frederic, in 2017 he made a Facebook post stating that Isabelle had left him for another man, claiming she had been unhappy for 10 years and very unhappy in recent months. He claims that she left him with their children.

So Real

HOLY SHIT! That’s what I kept saying from start to finish throughout this ep! I listen to podcasts while multitasking... took me extra time to get through this one because I kept going back to re-listen to any missed detail! This ep is hands down a fav! Bravo—er, well done, Casey!

wow, such a weird story. There is a ton of psychological papers waiting to be written on that one.
