Previous poll had decided that Lexi would be trading her Ethnicity with a viewer of the stream. I have three options to chose from for this poll. I have included samples below. There are more details discussed below.

Lexi has already had a number of adjustments from other trades and treatments. Those will not be reset due to this one. One aspect of that is her hair. It will remain red, but I'm going to adjust the shading to flatter a new skin tone and not clash as bad. But she will retain her larger nose and tooth gap as well.

Above as the above samples. There will likely be adjustments and things will shift over time. Much like Steph has adjusted over time of drawing her.

I know these are all very large regions of the world that contain a wide variety of facial features and skin tones. This is just what one person could look like. Trying to not lean into any stereotypes. I did a bunch of sketches based on a bunch of people in each option that could work for Lexi. Then with some Decider help, narrowed it down for this poll.

Please let me know of any questions below.

Ugh. Missed the last poll's conclusion. Not happy about this at all. Like almost makes me want to stop reading. We didn't need another race change.

Scottish is a British accent. UK accent + Africa or UK + South Asia are both common combinations and represent real communities of people due to the impacts of colonialism & real world history. UK + Latino is different than the other two because it’s actually an ahistorical label and is necessarily the product of contemporary immigration/marriage or in-universe nanite trading because of the label and historical circumstances. This is because “Latino” doesn’t just imply new world indigenous descent, but also colonization by Spain or Portugal particularly. Indigenous populations in *English speaking* North America are referred to as “Native American” “American Indian” or “First Nations” in Canada. Because “Latino” is a reference to iberian peninsular romance languages for some reason. I think about history too much to think race changes are fun I guess.

Yeah scottish accent and South Asian work together more naturally. Not the first thing I think of. But with the number of Brittish citizens of Indians decent, it would make sense some would have settled in Scotland. A woman from Central or south America ending up with that accent, no idea how that would happen. Would people just assume she's trying copy Catherine Zeta Jones?
