Weekly Update - 139 (Patreon)

Long-time fans of the comic might remember that there's an event that takes place in Kuserra each year known as the Shadow Festival, which sees denizens adorning black masks and celebrating a near-forgotten tradition of fooling the Shadows (mythical spirits of bad luck, basically) into looking elsewhere for their mischief.  Mostly it's an excuse for people to forget how much things suck for an evening and just cut loose and have fun.

As such, there won't be a regular comic this week, but I do want to continue the tradition with some special art.

Ramble:

Eh, braining is hard.  And I've fallen off the wagon posting sketches every Friday again, I know.

It isn't so much that I haven't been sketching, it's more that I haven't been sketching on Fridays.  My work schedule lately has shifted to more of a Sunday-Thursday work week, and by the time Friday rolls around it often feels like my day off, ergo posting a sketch feels like working on my day off, and laziness often wins out and leads to me not posting a sketch.  Maybe what I need to do is change the day that I post sketches to something else.  I dunno, it's a work-in-progress.
