Most people hate being alone. I noticed it a long time ago when I heard that eating alone in a restaurant feels weird for some but I became really sure of it before this trip.

After I told my friends, family, colleagues that I am going alone on a trip to the mountains there wasn't one positive reaction. Most of them were in disbelieve because "where's the fun in that" but some were... idk... sorry for me?

For me it's always a pleasant experience. I could finally stop for a second. Take a deep breath and be alone with myself. I had a lot of things on my mind but after this trip I realized the problems I had weren't that big after all.

I once red what's the difference between an introvert and exrtovert. Well, the introvert wakes up every day with a fully charged battery and every social interaction drains this battery a little bit. The extrovert, on the other hand, wakes up with an almost empty battery and every interaction charge it up a bit.

Do you agree with this saying? Are you scared of being alone sometimes?

Love, Erinthul.

This is a great set. Your moves are well contrasted by the deep forest with its ancient dark colors and rocks.

This saying is very true but I think it also depends on the people you hang around some people can give you energy and make your life better, and others can drain your energy. Everyone is a little different with different needs 😊

Being alone can be scary, because sometimes you don't like what you see in yourself when you have the time to reflect on it.

I've always thought that part of happiness is the ability to be alone and not be frightened of one's self. I need large quantities of time to myself - on the balance of extrovert and introvert, I'm most definitely an introvert: every social experience drains my energy, and time alone allows me to refuel. It's the only way to really think things through, too, I believe. I like to take an idea in my head with me when I go for a long walk, alone in quiet nature, and across the walk the idea starts to bloom, like a seed sprouting life, and by the end of my trip the idea has flourished into something that never would have occurred back in the land of people. Another beautiful set of photos, stunning composition.

If can’t be happy alone, can you truly be happy with others? I believe in filling up my own cup instead of expecting others to do it for me.

Went hiking alone last month. Met a stray dog, pet him and called him to join me. He followed me for hours. Complained with soft growls when we walked across some rocks, but he never left my side. :D Fed him half of my lunch. Best day ever :)

I meant to say, too - the lead photo in this set gives the impression you are a 'warrior of nature', staring into the dark, uncertain, chaotic forces of nature, and being fuelled by it. Perhaps it depicts a version of you that is part of nature, separate from the world of people, and that you are preparing yourself to return to civilisation, even though the forest is your true home.

Oh very beautifully said. I feel exactly the same. Thank you for taking your time to share your point of view! 🤍 And thank you for your second comment as well. If makes me really happy to read such wonderful words about my photography. Your title of the first photo is briliant! I hope you don't mind me using it on ig?

Oh, that seems like a wonderful adventure! I am glad you two became a really good buddies. Although I love food, I would definietly share my lunch with him 🤍

C. Smith

Absolutely - I'm so pleased to see you used the title :)
