In my last quick post I was telling you about my new car and in the comments I mentioned how much I needed this change to get some new inspirations because I felt stuck in my photography.

Well... yesterday I went for my first longer trip with my car. I wanted to visit a place I spend a lot of my childhood in. The place has changed a lot. The small village under the castle became more touristy and most places lost their original charm. I remember running around this castle for hours everyday. I've known every corner but now I felt out of place. There were people everywhere, every wood path was now covered in concrete. It was honestly sad seeing my childhood memories fading away.

I remember fiding this old Jewish cementary from 1660 hidden behind the bushes. I was always felt calm there. I could think in peace being alone but not entirely.

I left with so many mixed emotions but at the end I am glad I went.

Love, Erinthul.

It’s always bittersweet going back to places from our childhood. I’m glad you don’t regret going. Your pictures are stunning as always. The ones of you coming out from the hole in the ground remind me, somewhat, of Gollum from Lord of the Rings. They’re fantastic. Additionally, I enjoyed the old cemetery as well. A nice shoot!

Thank you so much! I was honestly a bit inspired by Gollum. I wanted to create a female version of him :D

Those ancient tombstones are fascinating. This shoot was really inventive. Another success
