Hello again!

Today I wanted to show you another "what you see vs what you don't see" type post.

I had this shoot in mind for a loong time so last weekend I finally decided to try make it reality. I am not fully happy with it because I think I should have taken this before the sunrise so that the light is softer and not that sharp as it is now. Because of that I am probably going to redo it sometime but I just wanted to show you how I achieved this floating pose.

It was really hard to stay still without getting all wet. I was especially affraid about my phone that I am holding in my other hand. I was wondering if 10 second was enough to leave my phone on the ground, run to the spot and then pose in this way aaaand... it wasn't. So I had to hold it next to me. The tripod was standing partially in water. Luckily it was very warm that day :)

How do you like it? :D

Love, Erinthul.

It was really cool seeing how you did the shoot. Personally I think the light is fine but if you do retake the pictures please post them. I’d like to see what you want it to look like.

This is an amazing concept! Would love to see in the softer lighting. Have you considered using an interval timer to help with your shoots? That way you can just set the camera to take pictures every few seconds and give yourself time to set up and get in position.

I really like it. Creative and the execution was well done. It has a mystical feel in the end

I bought one but unfortunately it didn't work for me. I couldn't use the app with intervalometer connected and it was really hard to set the right frame, not even mentioning the focus. I want to buy a camera that already has this feature :)

Love this. Can’t wait to see the retake if you decide to do it.

Very well done! I live thr ideas and ingenuity. I can well imagine how tricky it was with the camera. It certainly wouldn't have been possible to slip it into a pocket. Haha🤣

hahaha...oops. I just realized the way my comment above was written, that i was wondering about putting the camera in a pocket. In the pockets you have on set with you (clearly none) it wouldn't work for sure...nor would a cell phone to control the camera, which is what I intended to say. I need to read carefully before hitting [enter]. hahaha
