Do not feel too bad about not knowing what is going on. I am sure there were a lot of us who had no idea what was going on. You said you have watched the entire series, I assume your brain was fried in the last episode?

There was a lot of new stuff being thrown at viewers with this show, so don't feel like you're suppose to know who the TVA folks are, or anything regarding variants

Hi Cass... so you know Thanos "kills half of everyone" and so... if there are two brothers and he kills one of them then by his own weird rules he leaves the other brother alone. So Loki having known this from the beginning from Avengers 1 and he was being a nice guy at this time in Ragnarok - I believe Loki got himself killed by Thanos so that Thor could live since the other brother should be spared. Also Loki won't admit to doing something like this though so maybe I'm just making suppositions 🙂

I'm fairly sure he kills half of everyone by numbers, not relationships. How could he invade a planet and find out who is related to who in case he accidentally kills two siblings? How could he do this on a global scale? Why would he care? And if so, why did he snap away both T'Challa and Shuri who were siblings?

I adore this show, little confusing at the start as it does explore a whole new side to the Marvel universe that being the concept of alternate timelines and Variants which is indeed new to the MCU with Multiverses and Timelines being hinted at in Doctor Strange and Infinity War with us exploring the past in Endgame. Variants are people that diverge from a selected “main” timeline who end up creating a branched timeline with events and history that differ from the original. I like to think of universes as tree's with the tree itself being the main universe in this case Earth-616 (MCU) while the branches of the tree act as branched alternate timelines that originated from Earth-616 but some small to large events played out differently such as Loki disappearing after Avengers which changes every Thor movie along with Infinity War. This explains why some characters may look the same while others could look a little different such as Loki being born a girl. Universes like the Sam Rami Spider-Man films those act as their own tree with zero connection the MCU and it's events. These universes tend to be much different but of course still feature Spider-Man etc. Different timelines can also be seen as different universes as in theory creating a new timeline creates a new universe an infinite amount with the TVA overseeing them and removing any they see as "Too dangerous".
