Hey friends, it's always weird to say you are excited to watch war movies but I think we have some pretty amazing stories here in this poll so I look forward to seeing them unfold and learning more as always. Thank you for your suggestions. This is POLL 2, here is POLL 1. Make sure to vote on both, In 3 days I will take the top 4 from each for a final poll.

Upcoming post coming in a few!!

Not sure why so many are against Full Metal Jacket and thinking it would be too disturbing for her. War is disturbing, and that film is a very accurate portrayal of that. Isn’t that the point of her channel? To get out of her comfort zone and see films she wouldn’t normally watch? Cassie’s a big girl, she can handle it. And it’s just a film for Pete’s sake. Not a documentary... there’s a few heavy scenes, but it’s not much worse than Saving Private Ryan, 1917 or Dunkirk. All of which she watched, and I believe enjoyed.

Thank You for Your Service is another good one. Maybe for Veteran's Day.

The gatekeeping here gets pretty ridiculous. I prefer 13 Hours but am totally down for some Animal Mother.

Ok so I see everyone's choices and opinions on the matter. And I respect everyone of them. Personally I like all the choices (Minus Hurt Locker) I get everybody's reasons and arguments. The reason why my choices are We Were Soliders and 13 Hours is because its Memorial Day. Remembering those who made the sacrifice. Full metal Jacket, Apocalypse Now, they're great movies I agree, but they dont really set the tone for Memorial Day. That's just my opinion, to each their own, I respect everyone's opinion on this. Have a good one everybody

Wow this one was hard for me…a choice between Patton and Sergeant York!

love to see Cassie watch Full Metal Jacket and then just lean toward the camera and turn it off and just say nope , dont need to watch anymore of that

Thomas Monti

Please do Philadelphia. It’s a drama

Mike Lemon

FMJ seems to be as polarizing today as it was back then. Remember Siskel and Ebert’s epic battle over it?

Bridge on the River Kwai, omg the ending, THE ENDING!! That was fingernails digging into the armchair intense.

Patrick Flanagan

Honestly, the way some folks try to "protect" our host is borderline creepy at times. Only once did I voice objections to something suggested for her to watch, TRUE DETECTIVE Season 1, and it wasn't because I thought she would be traumatized, I just thought she would hate it because of the subject matter.

Another Stanley Kubrick film for Cassie. I’m excited to see the reaction to Full Metal Jacket.
