Hey guys! Here is Part 2 of the YT edit. They've both passed the "auto" copyright checks so they will premiere this afternoon/evening on YT. Hopefully no one manually comes in and claims them before it starts!

Here is the full reaction to this movie.

Does anyone know when The Two Towers full reaction is supposed to come out as well? Gonna watch this anyway, always need more LOTR content!

David Freese

Will be there for both. I'm glad they passed cause I love this reaction.

Ria Grix

Sits on sofa, pulls fluffy blanket over me and starts watching.

‘People in the old days had to wait a whole year to watch the next one’ …old days? Jeez it was only a few years ago (looks it up).. oh yeh… 20 years ago. Yep.

Cassie Tremblay

Hey Jamie! The Two Towers will most likely be Saturday/Sunday, tonight will be "While You Were Sleeping". Sorry for making everyone wait!!

Karthos

I'm excited to see your reaction to "While You Were Sleeping". It's one of the more underrated RomComs and a family favorite in our house. I think you will really love it!

Bill W

For Star Wars we had to wait 3 years in between!

David Woodbridge

You’re right, Cassie. When one rewatches “Lord of the Rings,” certain scenes from “Fellowship of the Ring” grow in power due to knowing the whole story. In particular, the scene when Sam wades into the middle of the river and almost drowns because he refuses to leave Frodo becomes even more moving when one has seen “Two Towers” and “Return of the King” and knows how crucial Sam will be in destroying the ring. In retrospect, the fate of Middle-Earth hangs in the balance when Sam faces the choice of whether or not to pursue Frodo. But Sam’s love for Frodo and promise to Gandalf drive him into the river. When Sam and Frodo embrace on the boat, we who have seen the trilogy know that this is the moment that leads to Sauron’s defeat, this moment of love and friendship between two halflings.

If you liked Boromir enough, then you’ll love Ned Stark a lot more

GOSH!!! I can't wait to watch both parts on YT today! I'm tuned in right now awaiting patiently till 3 today! though I've already watched your full length with Carly, I still enjoy watching the YT edits! it's just such a joy watching you two watching this trilogy, my 3 favorite movies that I've watched hundreds of times and never gets boring, heck I've seen this trilogy so many times, I have all three memorized word for word lol! now I'm really looking forward to your sister's reaction to The Two Towers and The Return of the King, I can't wait lol! much love and support, Happy Holidays and..... stay classy Cassie lol!🥰😁😉👍

Jayson Phillips

If you two were in that world yall would totally be wood elves!!

Robin Craft

I was gifted the box set of the trilogy Blu Ray extended version complete with behind the scenes discs featuring set designs, costumes, making of the weapons and so much more. Viggo Mortenson (Aragorn) was especially generous to the cast and crew. Any true fan of LOTR would really enjoy everything included in the boxed set.

Jayson Phillips

Don't think Dumbledore would have fought a Balrog! lol

resinmonkey .

'STOP STABBING HIM! . lol That might be a call back to the first time around.

If you want to know the beginnings of fantasy literature, this is it! The hobbit and then lord of the rings pretty much invented the fantasy genre like this is the beginning of the word orc, the ideas of having elves be elegant beautiful immortal beings etc. before this elves in classic mythology were more like what we think of as Santa’s elves. Tolkien took inspiration from mainly Norse and Germanic myths and legends and put his own spin on it. He was sad that England didn’t have its own mythology but just stuff they picked up from the various groups that invaded. So he decided to make his own English “Mythology” and we got the hobbit and lotr. Also some fantasy ideas came from Tolkiens good friend C.S. Lewis’ chronicles of Narnia which were written not long after the hobbit.

I cant wait to see your reactions to the second movie! Heroic moments abound, your love of Fantasy, as strong as it was before, can only grow from today forward! Rwar!

Ulf Jerlström

you definately need to watch the behind the scenes aswell its really in the category of making it so more magical and deeper understanding for the movies

Scott Macaulay

Watching Cassie be the veteran Tolkienite guiding Carly here was a gem!

Phil Stubblefield

Cassie, your original reaction to the LotR is far and away my favorite movie reaction on all of YouTube! And yet... The Squad of the Ring may just match it! It's so enjoyable to compare Cassie's second watching with Carly's first, and to hear the sisterly banter. Well done, my friends!

Saruman was portrayed by the Legendary and Late, Great Christopher Lee. He often (maybe exclusively) played the bad guy. I propose next Halloween you watch the original Wicker Man. Christopher Lee as a hippie pagan is must see TV!

Dustin Nelson

This is pretty fun seeing these with Carly, hope we finish soon.

Dustin Nelson

Would love to see The Wicker Man here. There's a lot of nudity but it's very tame

Peter Jacksons kids were also in this and Return of the King,... they were hobbit children in The Fellowship of the Ring (2 scenes- when Gandalf first lights fireworks in the cart and for when Bilbo is telling the story of the Trolls at the BD party) and play human kids in Minas Tirith,... in the big scene where all meet again,... (don't want to completely spell it out,...)

Richard Maurer

I would prefer Horror of Dracula for a Christopher Lee film. He was the best Dracula ever imo.

Rick

Any chance all 6 Carly reactions for the LotR trilogy will be out by xmas. They will be the perfect holiday binge

BRT

Great fun! Looking forward to the next one! Something that isn't really made clear, Elrond was married to Celebrian, who was the daughter of Galadriel and Celeborn, so that makes Arwen the grand daughter of Galadriel and Celeborn.

Marty McGee

They were also in The Two Towers. I won't say where, but you can spot them pretty easily. Peter Jackson is in all 3 movies as well. Return of the King also includes cameos of a lot of the secondary directors, producers, and other head members of the crew.
