Meh. I really have issue with the extreme Hollywood racism against Asians in this crap called a movie. The plot is horrendous. Direction is zero. Script is rubbish. Acting is the worst I have seen before Fast Furious and Expendables

Johnny Salinas

Hope you check out "Conspricy Theory" soon. It's also with Mel Gibson and directed by Richard Donnor. Plus Julia Roberts 😊

Johnny Salinas

Or "Ransom" ...if you wanna see Mel Gibson and Rene Russo married in a different movie 😀

Clifton Owens

Seeing you happy is like a Spring Morning. So glad you got to see the Lethal Weapon 4, and it was all you dreamed it would be.

Zane From Canada

"God, I'd give my right arm for a siren right now." "Aaaahhhhhh" 🚨 🤣🤣🤣

Danika Silva

Told ya.....best entertainment for a decade 💯💯💯

D. T. Nelson

My order— 2, 4, 1, 3... but all are really good. There are more than rumors about a Lethal Weapon 5. It was in pre production in 2021, then the director (Richard Donner) who had helmed the first 4 Lethal Weapon movies died. Mel Gibson, a director in his own right (Braveheart, Apocalypto, Passion of the Christ, Hacksaw Ridge) has taken over as director. Word is that it will be a direct to streaming release on HBO Max, probably early 2024 (though not sure how the writer/actor strike impacted that)

Doc Larry

A Mel Gibson poll would be great! Ransom is a good choice it has been suggested by many on the YouTube chat and on this platform.

Randall Jones

This is the movie that made Jet Li and American film star.

Dissonant Bard

This is a perfect wrap up for the series. With the actors ages the only way a 5th instrument would remotely make since would be for something to happen to one of those, now 25 year old, babies. I am much happier with my head canon of them all living on the beach somewhere together.

Mike Lemon

If you want more Mel- The Man Without a Face (1993) is a great movie many seem to have missed. Conspiracy Theory (1997) has Julia Roberts and would be well worth the watch. Hamlet (1990) should be in a Shakespeare poll (nudge, nudge).

Happy Hanukkah

Why does he keep smiling? Because he's JET LI! He's smiling at his own awesomeness. :-) Uncle Benny is played by veteran actor Kim Chan, whom I most remember from Kung Fu: The Legend Continues (filmed in Toronto). You've seen him as the food-ship guy in The Fifth Element. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ySdvixqjwaw&t=1196s

22:36 That's a reference to Bruce Lee, of course. I will once again recommend his classic Enter the Dragon (1973), as well as the Dragon: The Bruce Lee Story (1993) biopic.

Cliff Stephenson

I’ve ALWAYS loved Lethal Weapon 4 (I find it vastly more fun than 3). For 25 years I’ve been baffled by the hate it gets.

Cliff Stephenson

I can consign this with 4 and 1 being essentially tied. Something has always felt off about LW3. Maybe it’s the villain. I like it, but it falls well below the other 3 for me.

Mike Lemon

Both great. I don't think Enter the Dragon would be her taste but it would be good to find out. I think she would like Dragon a lot more and wonder if she would recognize Jason Scott Lee.

Bryan Fritchie

Had to 👎🏻 again for "GD". You're my favorite reaction channel, so I'd hate to have to unsubscribe. 😢😢😢😢

D. T. Nelson

Yes. Something about the villain, but it's hard to pinpoint. LW 2 has the South African consulate and the fourth movie had the Chinese Triad. You could argue a corrupt former cop selling guns and armor piercing rounds to gangs/drug dealers is too cliché, but LW1 was drug smugglers, and there is nothing more cliché than that. There is a lot that happens in the third movie I like, but... something about the villain just makes him seem so commonplace and... what? Less of a threat. Less interesting? Maybe it's just the stakes never seemed as high as they were in the other movies.

Happy Hanukkah

I am eagerly looking forward to The Godfather Part IV, especially with the new acting star it introduces, Romy C. :-P

Ria Grix

All of the movies were great. The way that it begins with Riggs being alone in the world and at the end of the four movies being surrounded by a huge extended family is lovely.

Mike Lemon

I don't want to spoil it if she sees this, but he was in a gang in the future.

Happy Hanukkah

Given how much I recognized him in/from that, I would be impressed indeed if Cassie did. But if Cassie has a competitive streak, I'm quite willing to go with that: Cassie, watch Dragon and try to recognize the star; go ahead, I dare you! I bet you can't! :-) :-)

James Loveless

★ ~ Please Consider ~ ★ adding this movie to either a sci-fi or time travel list Freejack is a 1992 American science fiction movie starring Emilio Estevez, Mick Jagger, Rene Russo, and Anthony Hopkins.

I think that there should be a reaction series for martial arts movies. Learning about and experiencing the different genre of movies wouldn't be complete with out martial arts movies.

Darrell berger

One of the best reactions yet.you should look at the Expendables series it has every action star from 80s and 90s

Mark Daniels

Cassie, you loving this movie and it’s ending is akin to Captain America wielding Mjolnir as I, Thor, exclaim “I knew it!” Lethal Weapon is all about heart and ranking them is nonsense.

Richard Maurer

Cassie - Now that you've witnessed the amazing Jet Li you can understand why I keep pushing for a Asian Martial Arts poll. These guys are on a whole different level.

Bill W

"Avast ye landlubber! Man the bilge pump!" One of me favorite all-time Pesci lines.

Bill W

The Coast Guard guy with the walrus mustache was also the Corrections Officer that lied about the train crash in The Fugitive.

Bill W

I love that they included Capt. Murphy in the family photo.

Jason Pratt

Also Tom from Office Space. “It’s a Jump to Conclusions mat!”

james flack

"Kiss of the Dragon".......Jet Li at his best! Just sayin'......😎

Bill W

Yes, Conspiracy Theory, Ransom and Payback were a nice trio of late 90s Gibson movies.

Bill W

Some people would've preferred it remain a cop/crime series than a comedy.

Bill W

Conspiracy Theory also has Steve Kahan (Capt. Murphy) as Julia Roberts' boss.

Cliff Stephenson

Well that ship sailed with Lethal Weapon 2, probably the funniest one (the rubber tree, Leo Getz, they f*ck you at the drive-thru) and also generally considered the best by most fans of the series. I know people who saw Lethal Weapon after 2 and don’t like it because it’s too heavy and doesn’t have the same levity of 2-4. Not saying I agree, but to say 1-3 are somehow something 4 isn’t sims to misunderstand the franchise as a whole. I like the CHARACTERS and that’s where 4 excels. In the same way the ‘pen’ conversation between Riggs and Trish in 2 doesn’t propel the story, it’s about coloring in the characters and that’s why I love most about 4… it’s almost all characters bits.

Chris Davis

It's funny, my Mom felt the same way about this series as Cassie...Not what I was expecting, either...I'm looking forward to what do they with the next installment..

Rick Moreno

A fun series of movies! While LW4 is probably the weakest of the four, it's still not a bad movie, which says something about how good the overall series is. Don't be ashamed, Cassie, by the end of LW4, we care about every single character, and I may have gotten something in my eye at the very end!

Stan the Man

There won’t be a 5th movie. No major Hollywood studio is going near Mel Gibson with a ten foot poll. Which is odd since it looked like he at his comeback with Hacksaw Ridge(nominated for Oscars). But after the racism and anti semitism I think he’s pretty much done in major Hollywood productions

Nick Bushkes

If you're looking for more films like the Lethal Weapon movies, I would HIGHLY recommend the Rush Hour trilogy!! Almost feels like they're set in the same universe as Lethal Weapon. Very fun and funny flicks!
