Horizon is unique, in all the wrong ways. He is tall, lanky, his ears are too big and his tail is too long. Every single one of these traits means he should stand out in a crowd. That wouldn’t matter much to the average kinling. It might even be desirable to some. For an Agent of the Ninetails, these are liabilities that could get the fox-kin rogue into serious trouble if he is noticed. Good thing he is a master of his craft.


Syndelle on the other hand is a Knight of the Sacred Order of Ravens. Sworn to protect against dangerous magics, the small lioness is talented and driven. She would be a welcome sight to most of the common-kin of the world, except for her small size and matching meteoric temper. She is well known for the chip on her shoulder and intolerance of disrespect. Still her sword play and ability to use talismans sets the lioness apart from other knights.

Horizon and Syndelle match in ways that cause all sorts of troubles for their adversaries.
Horizon has been able to impart a bit of patience to Syndelle. Even if only enough to point her temper and sword skills in the right direction. In turn Syndelle has been able to provide a bit of influence over the Agent. Having him investigate strange occurrences and covering for him when he needs it.

Their antics have not gone unnoticed by the Ravens or the hidden Ninetails. Not to say these two are a perfect match. Even now some of their ‘exchanges’ are at sword
length.
