Trust me, the Destiny 2 soup opera continues in the next season. Season of the Seraph is one of my favorites seasons with a very good ending. If you haven't decided yet on a video for it, my personal suggestion would be the video from Evaze. https://youtu.be/7WOlxQ9BMbI?si=QnzoMKqc3ChifYdA Also, a heads up, Bungie will be selling a NERF version of Cayde-6's gun, Ace of Spades in October. Since, I play the game and met the requirements, I was able to pre-order before they start selling to the public. https://bungiestore.com/bungie-rewards-nerf-ace-of-spades-blaster There's also a mini collector's display for the gun. https://bungiestore.com/destiny-exotic-armory-collection-ace-of-spades

A little context on Nezarec. Early on in Destiny 2, Warlocks received an exotic helmet called Nezarec's Sin with the following information: "He is that which is end. That which covets sin. The final god of pain—the purest light, the darkest hour. And He shall rise again. [...] For Nezarec is no demon, but a fiend, arch and vile in ways unknown. [...] And his sin [...] is that he will never cower when dusk does fall, but stand vigilant as old stars die and new Light blinks its first upon this fêted eternity." For years, nobody knew who or what Nezarec was. A pre-Collapse fable among humans? An ancient danger we'd meet among the stars? Or just some throwaway myth that Bungie added for flavor text? But then, when the Drifter first appeared in Forsaken, there's a record of an interview of someone who talked with Drifter. This person said that Drifter claimed to have visited "old myths no one's heard", including the Fourth Tomb of Nezarec. During the Season of the Haunted, one weapon you could craft/find is the glaive called Nezarec's Whisper, which Eris Morn found within the Lunar pyamid after the Nightmares had all but vanished. The weapon's tagline also implies that the glaive was originally given to Nezarec by Rhulk, upon Nezarec becoming a disciple of the Witness. And so now we learn that Nezarec WAS real, and that the Fallen/Eliksni found his burial site before dissecting and spreading his remains among themselves. And we also know that even the pieces of his corpse hold great power within. And if the text is to be believed... He shall rise again.
