I got pretty confused during this episode as well when I first watched it. You said you were going to look it up and probably seen most if not all episodes already so might repeat things you already know now. I think Yennefer in this episode put it in context by saying she had been in court for three decades. So most of Yennefer's story we had seen so far was 30 years ago. So a lot of the events we have seen have been 30 years old I guess, some of them present day. Even knowing that, it's hard to work out which scenes are present or past with Geralt in particular lol

Yeah the timeline is pretty wacky, and by the end for me some of it made more sense at least lol I think some really is just backstory and world building

I know you were REALLY confused and I was yelling at my screen so for that I do apologize. It’s probably even more confusing because Geralt and Yennefer don’t age so you can’t tell the passage of time through them 💀

I was just thinking about the ageing thing. Jaskier doesn't age either which is very confusing and unexplained. In fact none of the characters had visible ageing really, the Queen or her husband didn't seem any older. Mousesack doesn't look older but he is a mage so has a pass there I guess. The only person to have actually shown proper ageing was Foltest

Geralt is about 90+ in this season, the timelines cross but stay with it as it does explain itself.

Yeah, this was the episode where I realized it was a story being told in a non-linear fashion. On my second watch thru the season, I realized it was clear that was happening in earlier episodes, but I had missed it.

YES! the only mention of Jaskier’s aging that I recall is in the episode with the dragon where Yen mentions that his crows feet are new 😂
