Multiple things happened this episode that I’ve been waiting for: Wolfgang- He finally took out his cousin 🙌🏽Even though he only appeared briefly in a few episodes, I really hated that guy. Glad it wasn’t a case of “maybe he’s still alive” like with Felix. Nah, that guy got merc’d lol💥 I loved that it was Lito and his acting chops that helped him. The way he was able to think on his feet, with an actual gun to his head 🤯 Lito- HE RECONCILED WITH HERNANDO (!!!) But not before he made things right. First by giving the bartender a very thorough apology, but also by rescuing Daniela from Joaquin. I loved that Wolfgang repayed him the favor by helping him fight. This was a very welcome team-up this episode. And the return of Hernando’s sass when he catches Daniela still taking pictures of them, I can’t 😂 I know they were only apart for a few episodes. But they’re quickly becoming my favorites. I do agree that birth scene went on for a bit too long, but it did lead to a very unexpected cliffhanger for the final few episodes of the season next week.

it’s crazy how you said how it was crazy if they traveled all over the world to shoot the MANY scenes where they’re “visiting” each other in because it WAS crazy! 🤯 the Wachowskis INSISTED on everything being shot in location so it was SUPER time consuming and EXPENSIVE 🤩 it’s a big part of the reason in Netflix cancelling the series after season 2. there were petitions and quite the uproar for a FINALE so they shot one last “episode” the length of a Marvel blockbuster that is now “episode 12” of season 2. Sense8 was one of Netflix’s earliest original series so I guess they couldn’t justify handing over enough dough to the Wachowskis to continue making it after it wasn’t as popular as they had hoped it’d be :(

I knew you would love the Wolfgang/Lito scenes from this episode 😄 They are some great scenes and showed what Lito can do "powers" wise to help the others. They all have their own expertise to help each other even if the fighting stuff is more of a memorable power. I think the birth scene was graphic and long but I think it needed that in some sense to make sense of Riley reacting that way. Even though it was pretty graphic particularly with the first two, I guess as you said it's not really shown like that very often, yet birth is one of the most important things in life, so was pretty impactful to me when I first saw it. I think the last couple episodes and particularly Season 2 is going to give you more of what you are craving.

To give you an understanding of season 2. Because it took so long to film and produce season 2 they put out a Christmas/New Years special episode between the two seasons. That episode is the first episode of season 2 here. The actual season 2 contained 10 episodes (episodes 2 thru 11 on now) When the series wasnt renewed for season 3 and they made the 2 hour finale show it was added to season 2 and is episode 12 now. Hope that made sense
