I was going to wait another week seeing as we just watched a big episode but I wanted to get back to our Thursday slot!

You really had a high needle watching day, your favourite 😂 I think the Sara Patrell stuff is mainly about it's impact on Will's life and how he had already experienced sensate stuff, and also making him hate Whispers more which makes him want to go after him even more. As far as the reality of homo sensorium like stuff, I don't think there is any relation to current research about that. I think the vaguely psychic stuff is mainly down to people that are incredibly intuitive at reading body language. I had a very quick look and someone wrote an article relating sensoriums to Highly Sensitive People (HSP) which sometimes is also called Sensory Processing Sensitivity (SPS). Basically people that have an increased emotional reactivity and empathy as well as a greater depth of information processing. Is an interesting topic for sure though and much we still don't understand about the brain and human connection.
