For what we can only speculate. But she is obviously cooking something that requires mushrooms.

If it will be a magical brew or just a wonderful meal… we will have to see.

OOOOH, yes, that makes sense. Oh see. In our story, Maleficent is an elemental. A powerful entity connected to two forms of powers. The raw power of nature, and darkness. But the darkness is not necessarily a darkness like that of the night. More akin the dark shadows that can be found in deep old forests. She is the adversary of the Olympians and she resides in the eastern shadow mountains on the continent of Pellucidaria. Sooo… fairy no. Not a fairy in the Twinkie Twinkie look at my fancy wingseys!

To point things out, fairies aren't just the small folk. The Fae range all different sizes and not to be confused with what Shakespeare more or less got people to believe that in truth they are in fact scary at times.
