Hey everyone.

My trip to Japan is coming to an end.

I have truly enjoyed this trip. Although I haven’t been able to make too many drawings that I could show you, I have made some stuff that I think you will enjoy when I get it lined back home. Including some more pages for the comic.

There is simply too much to do and see here in Japan.

We were eating at the restaurant in Tokyo where the last fighting scene of Kill Bill Part 1 takes place. It was so amazing to see!

There wasn’t a lot of locals, but there were tourists all over and it was a full house! I was standing on the platform where I suspect Oren-Ishii was standing in the movie.

The food was good. Not like out of the world good, but good. The sake was AMAZING though. I prefer the dryer sake that is kinda fruity but not sweet. If sake is too sweet then it becomes a little too… you know… sweet and then I don’t like to drink it.

Dryer sake is more my stuff as it’s easier to drink and enjoy.

If you are a Tarantino fan or just like Kill Bill then it’s clearly a recommendation from me. If not then… well… the servers were beyond cute 🥰 and many were foreigners so they understood English perfectly.

The Japanese aren’t all prolific in English. I suspect it’s partially because they don’t have the reason to keep it up after high school, and they are too mindful of saying something wrong or be misunderstood.

Patience is key when visiting Japan, and also, keep in mind that they are truly trying their best. Learning a few phrases in Japanese can really go a long way.

Thank you 🙏

Excuse me ☝️

I am sorry 😞

And a lot of others that are usually involved in the known universal language of kindness.

I hope that you are all having a good time and that you also get a chance in the future to go and visit the enchanting land of the samurai, the ninja and the sake! Tokyo is a wild and charismatic metropolis unlike any other in the world. Gigantic but easy to get around. And easy to get lost in. Just keep a cool head, don’t walk unless the light is green and always try to remember where you are going.

But with that said, I will soon be going home to make more art for all you fantastic people. ❤️

Yours truly

I just got back from there too! I missed my chance at that restaurant, but still had a great time! Hopefully the typhoon didn’t spoil anything.
