AHH this was such a fun show and i enjoyed it dearly! it was good to have this show while I was watching other ones that were more heavy.

I enjoyed this series with you… It’s nice to see you watch bl for the first time… Semantic error is probably the biggest korean bl there is before korean bls really became popular. I would recommend Love In The Big City cuz it is probably the most important korean bl and probably the most important bl there is, it is so real and complex.

Loved watching your reaction to this great series. If you're interested in more lighter (means not overly spicy) BL, I would recommend "Cherry Blossoms after Winter" (another one with height difference), "Light on Me" (shy protagonist), "To my Star" or "Love Tractor" (both more on the mature side).

Couldn't agree more with this being the perfect first BL. It's a cute story, fun enemies to lovers situation, nothing to crazy or tragic happening. Would totally be down for more BL's! The Eighth Sense is one id recommend tho I will say it's not as light hearted as this one but it's just soooooo good. From what I've seen this is how I've categorized BLs lol Korea: lots of Friends to Lovers to choose from Japan: lots of Opposites attract/Popular non Popular Thailand: One of them are gonna be rich lol Thailand also ups the spice level I will say I be having to pause and be like omg. lol

This was so fun to rewatch with you!! It really is one of my favorite BLs and I would love for you to react to more. I would recommend the 8th Sense or maybe Jun and Jun if you want to keep going with the lighthearted ones, but I will say the eighth sense does have more of a darker tone but still an amazing drama.

This was so good!! I’m so happy you enjoyed it. This is my favorite BL. Light and fun to watch. My recommendation for the next one would be The 8th Sense. It’s my second favorite korean BL. It’s a bit more artsy and vibey and the actors are so good! It’s so beautiful. Thanks for being open to new things gurl🤍

The love itself and the characters are mature and there is not much drama there. Basically, it is about 2 grown men in the corporate world trying to enjoy the little things in life aka deserts and sweets, haha) * I Hear the Sunspot (a Heartwarming and emotional series tackling masterfully the topic of disability as one of the leads is deaf. Love in the big city, the biggest korean SOLID queer series. It’s not BL, because BL is just not raw queer representation. i have another of my favourite, if it’s with you, it’s a Japanese BL, i would say it’s perfect for 5 episodes, just pure cuteness, great chemistry.

Cherry magic is a good one I like the Thai version it’s more my speed in terms of pacing the main couple is together for a good part of the show and it’s 12 episodes so there isn’t a whole lot of drawn out storyline.

if you’re looking for something kinda like semantic error i think our dating sim is really good, similar vibe and length, one that’s a little more moody but also good is the eighth sense, but all the recommendations in the comments are also really good

when it comes to Thai bl my fav cutesy ones are my school president, boss and a babe and bad buddy (cutesy but sometimes not but it is), them more of a like a bit deeper storyline are Last Twilight and Moonlight Chicken and IF you wanna try something with A LOT of drama and also spiciness the ONLY FRIENDS, Manners of Death, KinnPorsche... my fav Chinese bl is and probably forever be is the untamed but it has 50 episodes so yeah haha... Korean I definitely recommend the 8th sense its so deep and beautiful AND a Taiwanese movie another MASTERPIECE is movie called Your Name Engraved Herein definitely worth of watching 🫶🏻

I really love how much you enjoyed this series and the genre bl! Another pretty solid korean bl is "cherry blossom after winter" or "roommates of poongduck 304" (with kim jiwoong from zb1) ... but thai bl are on another level. They are longer and more dramatic but also really good like: "Love in the Air" or "TharnType". There is also a korean-thai cooperation "Love Is Like A Cat" with Jimin and geonu from Just B (or former I-Land) ... anyway, what I'm trying to say is that there is a big world of bl waiting for you to discover (oc slowly and at your own pace)

I loved watching this along with you!! Some of my all time favorite shows have been BLs so I’d love for you to keep reacting to BLs! KinnPorsche is one of my favs but it’s a pretty heavy one, another one is The Untamed (a Chinese BL) but it’s a very long show (has 50 episodes so it would be a LONG commitment). I did finish up one not long ago called Monster Next Door (it’s a Thai BL but it was another light/cute show). There’s so many good BLs out there so you will not run out of shows to pick from!

Loved your reaction because I was the same the first time around 😂 Oooh there’s so many bls I would love u to see. Another cutesy Korean bl that I would recommend is Light on Me. My all time favorite is the biggest bl turned bromance story ever 😅 (damn Chinese censorship) THE UNTAMED. The story is just so damn good. But that’s a big one to commit to! I think it’s 100% worth it and so many would definitely watch with you .

Please I would honestly do anything for you to watch “The Eighth Sense” mind you in is on the sadder side at times but it is my favourite BL to date coming from someone who nearly only watches BL. That would be my number 1 recommendation but I would love for you to explore some Thai BL’s too so I would suggest: Bad Buddy and KinnPorsche if your into the steamier side of BL HAHA. But other then that thank you so much for giving Semantic Error and BL in general a try, I loved your reaction and will look forward to any BL’s you do in the future!!

One more heavy- “Until we meet again”. I cried my eyes out on this one (it’s Thai BL). “Roommates of Poongduck 304” is also Korean, it’s a fun and short one just like the one you just watched. Girl, write these down! 😀 KinnPorsche!!!! Girlll it’s so good. It has a fun mafia/romance plot, with some humorous moments tossed in, amazing actors etc. I also think you would really like My School President. Amazing musical aspect to it, and cute story. Another great one is NOT ME. It’s another classic/well known favorite. Also, Last Twilight!! Memorable, heart felt, amazing chemistry of the main couple. I could give you so many suggestions but these are a few must sees if you are getting into BLs. Have fun!! Maybe you could do a poll with some of the suggested BLS, to figure out which to watch next 🥰 exciting! BLs are so much fun

Thank you for your reactions, it was really fun watching Semantic Error with you 🤣 I would like to recommend The Untamed (2019), it's a chinese drama and the most popular for years in China and in the World (billions of views) even if it was heavily censored. The novel who inspired the drama is 100% BL. The scenery, story and costumes are just gorgeous in chinese dramas. Please, consider adding it to your list for later if you don't want to watch a longer BL drama at the moment. This drama is a roller coaster of emotions, I'm pretty sure it will also become one of your favorites.

There is so so so many great Bls out there but also a lot of bad ones! I know that you don't want recs on here so I will just say that I recommend finding a few you're interested in and then doing a poll? Honestly there are many with so many different vibes and countries that recs are going to be all over the place! This isn’t a BL rec but if you ever need another show with good pace and fun + witty characters, you may consider checking out ‘Love to hate you’ on Netflix. It’s pure comedy with quite unique fl/ml dynamics compared to most kdramas
