This was incredibly moving! I have my doubts, but I would be thrilled if this is how the belt earns their place in the system. Another episode that keeps you on the edge of your seat.

Some small details, but it's cool that the show respects some details about zero-g, the fire in Naomis ship in the beginning is how a fire would burn in zero-g. Also the tears of Tilly were very well made. And of course the problems with wounds and internal bleeding. It's interesting how the old pirate (Ashford) is the one willing to change and Drummer is more stuck in the "old" ways of the Belters, usually it's probably the younger that would adapt more easily. Man I love Ashford, with no hesitation he offers help to all the other factions, I'd never have guessed that when he was introduced. And I hope it will save Drummer too! Also I think in the books it's a bit more clear, but Anna was pretty high from the drugs she took, I'm not sure she would have followed Clarissa otherwise ^^

I think a benefit of the book being packed into a smaller amount of episodes is that these episodes are basically non-stop action and development.

I actually LOVE the subversion of character expectations with Drummer and Ashford, I FOR SURE would think their stance would be switched, but it's so fun having it be this way.

Love The Expanse because it's the only show that's ever easily got me to care about secondary characters! The ability for this show to take characters that are only around for a few episodes and use them to the max potential is insane! Tilly, Captain Sutton, Admiral Souther, Frank DeGraaf, Big Man on Ganymede (52), The Somnambulist Couple, Julie Mao, etc. And there are more of those to come of course! The music as Holden talks about "THE END" gets me every time, perfect for the moment!

After all these years I was wondering who's fault it was that the arm broke the hand terminal. I had to clear my sinuses of Dr Pepper after that, that was awesome. Mi was sick and nigh to death, tili go, tili go Mi was sick and nigh to death, tili go Mi was sick and nigh to death, and vowed with mi every breath for go with wisdom's ways, as we sail

The other important point about this episode is that it is entirely shot in zero G! I believe the show thought they were the first to do this at the time! You have zero G fire, characters floating on the Thomas Prince dead in zero G, hand terminals and other debri floating around on the Behemoth, Amos seeing a floating chair on the Roci, Naomi leaping around the cargo bay trying to avoid Clarissa! The only moment when there is "G" is when Ashford spins the drum to create spin gravity (what we might think of as centripetal force, think of a spinning Teacup at a carnival for example!). Emotional reaction to an emotional episode!!

It was really well done! The fact that the expanse is so consistently great and realistic I never even thought about the fact it was being filmed, it just was zero g.
