One thing was never quite clear to me: how did the plant (Ortie?) lose one of his ... horns?

so I did some research, and it looks like it changes between pages 74 and 76 of Ortie 2 - it's weird, he's shown coming out of his little rebirth pod with both, but in the next frame his left one is missing. Before that, though, you see both his horns broken off on page 73, after he gets hit with the pesticide - and on 63.
