May I ask something completely unrelated? It bothered me since ever: In "Ortie", page 5, Ortie is occupying the entire middle section, and he is showing a gesture with his left arm and hand: having the arm stretched outwards, leaving the hand at about navel height (well, where the navel would be if he were a human and not a plant), and forming a circle with thumb and index finger, facing the rest of the fingers away from the recipient of the gesture, i.e. the baker/mad scientist. This frightens the baker and causes him to flee in terror (and in vain, eventually). Though it is clear from the context that Ortie is kind of "inviting" the baker to have sex, it seems to me that Ortie is using a commonly known gesture. Unfortunately I don't belong to that particular commonality who knows the gesture. Is it known? Where and by whom? What does it mean to those who know it?

Sorry to disappoint but the truth is that it means nothing. It's just the way I drew the hand, there's no significance to it.
