A Little Birthday Comic (Patreon)

Hi everyone!

So today actually is my birthday. Haha. But more than that, it's also the birthday of this here Patreon! I opened this place up to subscribers one year ago today and I'm happy to see there's still a few of you here. Thanks so much for sticking with it!

I wanted to do something a little special to celebrate and since I know how many of you enjoy these BG/SG comics, here's another. There's also a full time-lapse you can watch of it HERE and hi-res layered files attached below (in both Photoshop and Clip Studio formats).

I told myself I'd try this platform out for at least one year. See how it goes, who might be interested, and make sure it didn't get in the way of any of my contracted work. After that, I'd decide if I wanted to keep going with it or not.

And I've decided to keep going! I love this Space Cat community. It's honestly my favorite place to post new art each week. It hasn't always been easy; I'm eager to keep new content up and right now that's been difficult with the graphic novel I'm working on. But there's a lot of stuff I'm excited to share on the horizon. I've also been considering a few tier changes that might be better for everyone but I'll be sure to ask your opinions on all that before doing anything drastic.

For now, I'm going to take a very much needed day off. After non-stop comic work for a month, my drawing hand is in dire straights (and I still have a month left of work to go). I'm going to let it rest by going to see the new Top Gun with my dad, maybe grab a couple beers, and then sit at home watching new Star Wars stuff and eating cake. It's almost like I'm a kid in the 80s all over again (if the beers were juice boxes or something).
