Like you said, the rewatch value is rly good, there's a lot of subtle details hinting the twists. Ambessa (Mel's mom) being the one who orchestrated the attack in episode 1 is hinted through camera movements during dialogs, little facial expressions, etc. If this show isn't peak, idk what is. And since you mentioned Jinx's voice actress being great : it's Ella Purnell, she plays one of the main characters in the Fallout live action show on Amazon Prime

Really packed episode. Another third episode, another revenge-bound orphan taken under the wing of a strong ideologue. Ambessa being Caitlyn's Silco is even more sinister though because Silco's decision was last minute and sincere, Ambessa is clearly just chasing her own goals here.

In-game characters so far: Jayce, Viktor, Jinx, Vi, Ekko, and Heimerdinger. edit: and singed* forgot about him lol Also lots of easter eggs for other characters (like a forgettable mention of Janna from this episode). Also also less important but still important there's a lot of location/organization name drops where groups of characters come from (like pilot over, black rose, etc.). Only bring this up because this is what people with game knowledge thinks about when they're mentioned. No spoilers I promise.

Fun Fact: the humanoid rabbit character you see early in the episode is apart of a race called the Vastaya. They are similar to other animal humanoid races such as tabaxi, dragonborn, etc. but a cool thing is that depending on how they are raised or on the environment they are in they can turn more animal or more human. From a regular human with animal ears and/or a tail, to a giant cat with all the feline features that stands on 2 legs and talks. Honestly one of the most interesting parts about league lore

also that the vastayan race is one more closely linked to the arcane due to their ancestors being people who 'ascended' or something. I loved the cameo but damn I hope we get to see more of the Runeterra world in a future series or smth theres so much to explore still. Arcane is truly just the tip of the league lore iceberg lol

yeah Ambessa dropped midway through season 2 I think, she has a full music video as well which has some really cool lore for her, doesnt spoil anything for Arcane but it sure as heck gives a lot more context to her actions.

This show just keeps on giving! The rewatch value is really something there are so many small things visually that tend to go on unnoticed with the first watch e.g the safety glasses Vi is wearing this episodes she picked up from Jinx and before that they belonged to Claggor, one of the boys that was killed from when they were kids.
