Sheeeesh that backstory 😭
This arc has been fascinating and pretty low dynamic as far as 🟨goes
We got a dose at the start of the episode... enter many sad faces lol
Excited to see where the adventure takes us next!

I actually think the comedy moment was well placed for once here because after 4-5 episodes of just everything being at a 10 in terms of tension and action, the show needed SOMETHING to allow us to take a second to breath LOL That said, yeah the comedy itself isnt the best and not for everyone. Cant wait to see you react to the next arc. Great visuals as always and PRACTICALLY NO 🟨!

Normal people yeah. Anime fans are built different man. I don't like 🟨 but I remember hearing people get a good laugh from him when I saw the movie in theaters and just seeing reactions to this episode online LOL

This arc was so good. However the villains were really the big stars here too. It’s been said that Gyutaro (the bro) could have been a higher rank Kizuki than he was currently. But he was more so interested in being with his sister (I assume she only had her rank because of him and if he upped his rank she wouldn’t be able to keep up). So I’d like to see again if the other Kizuki in S3 are really stronger than the sibling team. Also, you won’t have problems with 🟨 next season either. It’s gonna be a rather unique season with great visuals and story but it’s imo more chill than S2.

Anime fans have just been so used to that trope that when Tony brings it up as something “unflashy”, well, I agree and can’t deny it. It’s stupid to add in all that screaming but I just roll with it 😅 (I’m surprised I can because as someone on the autism spectrum I get anxiety with constant loud sounds).

Ah yes, the POV that anime fans are not normal people. At this point I am an anime fan. I am a regular person like all of you. Maybe the people who laugh at that would laugh at silly screaming audio sounds in all genres of media.

I think that the writing in the show strikes a good balance between the ideas of "hurt people hurt people" and keeping people accountable for their actions. It encourages you to both sympathize with these people who were themselves victims at one point without taking away from the focus on the protagonists to protect new victims.

I fully understand the loud scenes being hard to digest for you (sometimes it is for me as well and I watch anime since I was a little kid) but I am wondering if it is because you might leave your volume too loud? there were scenes you said the sound was loud (like yellow's thunderclap move) but it wasn't that loud to me. But yeah, it was a mix of a comedy of one of the wives being so absurd in a situation like this + the emotions of seing a loved one perish with poison, that is why all the crying took place.

It's not a volume issue. I'm not sure what you are referencing about a thunderclap but there are volume differences between my mix and the recording so I'm sure that was actually loud on my end. With 🟨 It's the actual audio itself. I can't stand cartoon like screaming that just goes on and on for no reason. I have the same reaction for anything using this type of audio, not just demon slayer or anime

next season has no 🟨 and probably the best visuals as of current. hope you continue to enjoy

I've seen it so many times but I am still awestruck every time the Infinity Castle appears. Genuinely some of best 3D animation I've seen. Demon Slayer as a whole uses cgi incredibly well, especially in the way they blend it with traditional 2d animation.

I would feel confident in saying I've seen a lot of anime so I'm familiar with all tropes. The 🟨 and the one wife (who IS supposed to be the female version of the 🟨) never particularly bothered me with their screaming, BUT it is unnecessary. When it does happen it kind of just phases past me, maybe because i have a tolerance for goofiness, but it's really not needed. Sommeeetimes the comedy doesn't hit right in this show considering the 🟨 is kind of supposed to be that comic relief character, but some amimes are like that sometimes. I love the story of DS and ofc the animation/visuals so im chill with it, but i wouldnt be mad if it didn't exist lol. Lucky for you though, the worst of that is behind us if you can believe that, the next two seasons dont have much if at all of obnoxious screaming besides some minor instances 😇

🟨 One is the true villain of the story and not Michael Muzan Jackson, at least for Tony :D 🟨 will be in a long hiatus now, so you can take a deep breath hahah :D S2 was for me my favourite arc so far, but S3 will be good too.

I hate the "comedy" in demon slayer with a passion. The yellow hair dude is annoying and there's no point to him. BUT once we found out the sister could heal poison we knew the flashy ninja dude wouldn't die. That's why it's played for laughs and her acting was over the top because the audience knows something they don't. If it was played serious it'll feel like the author doesn't respect our intelligence cause we know what's gonna happen. I didn't laugh, i just didn't think much of it. The annoying yellow hair dude whining about pain while the friend next to him has a faint heart rate did annoy me though.

I don't really like villain backstories in this show, but these guys' backstory is actually really well written. There is one more REALLY GOOD backstory (that wasn't animated yet - no spoilers) but other than that, everyone's story is just meh. I love this show, rather, I love ufotable's work. But writing and story wise I think this is the one of the weakest ones out of all the big anime series. No other anime beats ufotable in the animation department though. I don't know if you'll continue watching Fate after Fate/Zero. It is a confusing series but the animation gets better and better through everything they release. The Heaven's Feel movie trilogy has the best animation you could see. It will only be topped off (hopefully) by the upcoming Demon Slayer movie trilogy.

I see why people hate 🟨 a lot and the trope of the screaming whinny *****, I personally don’t like it too much, but when you come to think about comedic relief, there’s always a Character that represents that (like Sasha in AOT) remember how the anime went even darker after her conclusion in S4, I believe its kinda cheap to put characters like them, however the tone can severely get darker when the comedic relief is not present anymore or when its personality shifts to a serious darker side, keep that in mind, good anime will reward you for your patience, I like to believe Demon Slayer is the case too, I hope/wish you find enjoyment in the following episodes.
