Update (Patreon)

Last week something pretty unfortunate happened... I dropped my laptop, and the monitor went black. The screen won't turn back on no matter what. This isn't as bad as it could be because the laptop itself still works, and I can still use it by having it hooked up to the TV. But this is awkward and takes some adjusting. I haven't even really tried doing intensive work yet, haven't opened up MMD, I have a feeling it won't be easy to make work like this.

I have however been hoping to upgrade soon anyway. I'm making a lot more money than I used to these days, so I might be able to make something happen there. I'd ideally like a strong Desktop that'll be better suited for mocap stuff which I still have a lot of interest in. Good news is, if that does happen, it'll be easy enough to transfer what I need from my laptop over to a new device, since like I said it's still functional, just kind of annoying to do intensive stuff with. 

This is why there hasn't been updates these past few days. I think I'm going to take the rest of June off and see where things stand after that. Everything that I did before is still possible, just... well, it's weird. Not least of which because the HDMI is juuuust barely not long enough for this to be comfortable. But I might be able to adjust that. 

Not a huge loss in the grand scheme, could've been a lot worse. That the laptop still works at all is quite lucky. But it is a speed bump and one that I'll try to keep y'all posted on. See you again soon!
