What a week it’s been! Kitsune is back in action and already cooking, i’ve been polishing and updating Mel x Lawa, and ZZZ just brought back my favorite Shork for a rerun (still need to find the time to dive into her new story tho =P). To celebrate all of this (and keep you from waiting while we are polishing Mel), i'm super excited to share this little animation i’ve been working on between bigger projects! Seems like our Shork has been a bit naughty again and landed herself in detention, but something tells me her mind isn’t entirely on her punishment (¬‿¬)❤️

A HUGE shoutout to Rii (@riizuwu) for jumping in on this project so fast and helping us release it today! Literally turned it around in an hour after we sent it to her! ❤️ ٩(๑•̀ω•́๑)۶ ❤️

As for the scene and shot itself, it’s a bit of a throwback to something we did a while ago with Raiden, but this time i decided to shake things up visually. I've updated the skin shaders, experimented with new background surfaces to create a soft blur effect without using DoF, and ditched some of the usual darkness and fog in favor of more natural lighting. Just wanted to break our typical visual tropes and try something fresh! Hope you'll enjoy the results as much as i do! ❤️(˵^ ◡ ^˵)❤️

Now, as for Mel x Lawa - we are officially in the polishing phase! I’ve already wrapped up adjusting almost 10 scenes (lighting, animation tweaks, etc.), and I’ll keep pushing through the same amount next week. I’m holding off on sharing more scenes until the release (tho i still might sneak one or two in the next few weeks), so to fill the wait, i’ll do my best to share more short animations like u see above in the coming weeks. It’s a great chance to play with some fun, juicy angles i had in mind for quite a while, without getting too deep into a "big production". So let’s see how it goes! (｡> ‿ ◕｡)❤️
