July Poll #1 - Audio Durations (Patreon)

Hey there Good & Great Fantasy patrons! 💐

It's about midway through the month, and normally that's the time when I'd run a poll to get some ideas for the mid-month exclusive work for you kind & generous souls on these tiers. However - I currently have more ideas than I know what to do with, so I'm going to do something else this time. Something I've been meaning to do for a few months.

I want to learn more about you all, and your preferences. I want to know my audience a little better.  

Over the next few weeks I'll run a quick series of polls with some basic questions to help me get a better understanding of how best to focus my work. The questions will be very straightforward, but if you'd like to add anything underneath in the comments about WHY you listen, please do.

Is it pure escapism? Are you learning about yourself and your desires? Is it mostly sexual, or do you just enjoy getting lost in stories? Are you just a sucker for sexy voices, more so than most people? I want to know! 

So the first question is related to duration - how long do you like your audio to be?

For me, most audios I listen to on YouTube are comforting and helps with sleep or relaxation. Most of your’s however specifically are sexually… errh, stimulating😝, Your voice just really does it for me ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ and j like the story telling, don’t know what to tell you. Ok I am going to be honest here so usually voices relax me no matter what type of audio it but you are amazing perfect voice it’s a very diff(but amazing) feeling I get it both relaxes me but also makes be in a playful mood it sucks when your single of course but I def don’t let that stop me I know how to take care of myself of course 😜but your voice it def helps me get there faster but it’s also helped me relax as well so anything you do I’ll love I would love you being dominant though it’s gonna drive me and I’m sure everyone else crazy in a good way 🥰😍

Up until about 6 months ago, I wasn’t even aware there were ASMR role play audios. Before that I had only listened to scary story narrations & crime podcasts on long drives & to help me relax/ sleep. At first I really loved the story telling & how immersive RP audios could pull me in. Let me safely explore darker material & situations like getting kidnapped,etc. And then I found out about NSFW audios 😆 they’ve pretty much replaced p#rn for me when I need a little me time. Depending on my mood, RP audios provide a lot of comfort & relaxation for me 🥰

I started listening to boyfriend RP audios because I was lonely and needed some comfort and relaxation. Then I found out that certain voices did something to my libido which was kind of a shock until I remembered one specific guy I used to talk to on the phone. Then things began to make sense. Around the same time I found NSFW audios and it helped to release the tension 4 years of not quite chosen celibacy had built up. Having said that, time wise it’s somewhere between 10 and 30 minutes. Sometimes I need a quickie. Other times I need the build up. It really depends on the day and how much stress I’m dealing with or how lonely I am. With other artists I find that the longer a video is is better to draw me into the story. With you though that’s not an issue. Listening to the audios (yours and others) I have found comfort in the more romantic stories, realized I’m not as submissive as I once was, have enjoyed putting myself into some of the stories you create, gotten comfort from being told that I am attractive as I am, and many other benefits I can’t put into words right now even if it only lasts as long as the audios. I love your voice and your story telling abilities. It’s an escape for a while from the long loneliness that is my life. I hope this helps you in some way.

I only found your YouTube channel yesterday and listened to the bullying story, now listened to a few more... For me, its a combination of exploring long time repressed emotional and sexual fantasies, and your voice helps. That's great. I started out doing relaxation/guided meditation audio, but no one was listening until I made them sexual! I have about 6 guided meditation audios saved from early on, I've been considering starting a separate channel for tat kind of thing, and maybe just doing one per month or so.

We're in the same boat - I didn't know role play audios existed until about 6 months ago, too! Which I suppose is why I'm trying to learn more about what people love about them - I'm new to it, too.

That's a beautifully written, well articulated answer. Thank you. This is what I sort of assume is true for a lot of people - it's a comfort in times when you're feeling a bit lonely. And as much as the sexual content is fun to make, I love that people can find support in the rest of my work, too. I like being able to make people feel good. It's nice to feel I can maybe bring something positive into people's lives, even if it's only for 15 or 20 minutes at a time. Because everyone deserves to feel special and appreciated.

Someone can tell I'm Australian! 😄 A lot of YouTube comments suggest people think I'm English... I would guess that's mostly Americans. But I've lived in London for many years so I guess they can be excused for getting it mixed up. I've been through that journey of exploring your own kinks and learning to love them. I don’t know how I fell into listening to role play audios but I’m glad I did! Yours are the only ones I listen to, all the others I just find cringe tbh 😄 They are great for alone playtime 😉 I struggle to listen and not touch myself, sorry 😂 They’ve also helped me to not feel ashamed about my kinks, and feel more free sexually. I was always worried about why I love rough sex, and was embarrassed about it.

I'm so happy you don't find me cringe 😄 I know what you mean though, there's plenty of other artists out there which just don't sound very... polished. Rough sex is great, I love getting physical. I tend to think that kinks are fantastic and so long as you respect yourself and your partners, the 'why' doesn't matter. It's like everything else in life - be a good person, be considerate, and so long as you're having fun - it's all good.

I started listening to audio RPs out of both personal and professional curiosity (I'm a sex educator and content creator). I've always had a thing for deep voices and dirty talk. I didn't seriously get into it until earlier this year when I was bed bound with medical issues. I started searching on YT and didn't like most of them until I found yours and your voice was perfect! I also really appreciated the gender neutrality as a nonbinary human. I do often wish your audios were longer, I like a build up but your multi part stories are great for that. Your content is a sexy, relaxing escape from my daily stressors and chronic pain.

I'm glad I can help 🙂 I would love to make much longer work but it's tricky - I often feel like I'm already at the limit of balancing quantity with quality. If I were to push out work more frequently, or force it to be longer, I'd end up feeling like I'm going past creative inspiration and heading towards just being a 'content machine', if that makes sense. But that's why I do like making series, too. It's easier to keep up the inspiration over several 15 minute episodes, rather than one 45 minute one. I have considered this - once a series is done, editing the whole thing together in one long cut, and posting it here for the Patrons. In addition to the singular episodes, that is.

I listened to asmr cause I liked the tingly feeling I'd get. One day I randomly thought to look up boyfriend asmr. And it was actually a thing. Enjoyed the romantic stuff didn't realize the spicy stuff was out there at first but I'm one who likes to read alot of spicy romance novels so it just added extra depth to the experience. I started listening to you specifically cause you have such a lovely voice deep and sweet I can hear your smile :) the extra effort with background noises and small mouth sound makes your Audios *chef's kiss*. I really love it when people take note of the additional sound effects, because out of all the steps that go into making an audio, it's easily the biggest pain in the ass! But I think it really helps set the scene. And I actually really do try to make my smile come across in my voice. So I'm glad you notice that, too 🙂

I've been single for about 7-8 years. Wither if it was life circumstances, geography, or just stages in life, my dating life hasn't been successful in evolving into something exclusive or committed. So I use the audios to fulfill the "would be boyfriend" roles in my lonely down times. It helps me to hear a familiar male voice in a variety of ways to get my charge of relationship play. Wither if it's being positively reaffirmed, being "man handled", or even a bit confrontational with the make up aftercare, it helps me from feeling cold and distant. I'm already a really private person who just happens to not be co-dependant, and that kind of independence can be intimidating for most people. . . Plus there are a lot of sexual and sensual fantasies I've always wanted to experience, but it's always hard to bring them up or work them into my dating life. So being able to vicariously live them out through this medium, in secured privacy is also liberating.

Aw thank you! To be honest I don't listen to many other relationship roleplays so I'm not sure how much other artists upload, but I feel like I do I upload a lot. And I was a little nervous about the cringe factor at first too, but I think I found my groove fairly quickly. You have to fully commit to the performance, or it doesn't work.

here are p much all my thoughts -i love a slow, detailed built up story spread out over several vids. I listen to your audios for many reasons. It's about exploring my desires in a safe place. I also enjoy escaping for a while. And obviously it's about the sexual part. I've had several requests for them previously, and I thought it seemed like an interesting idea, as opposed to the more standard ones like werewolves, vampires an so on. It would be clearly labelled of course, so if it comes up, you'll know before listening.

Number one reason for me is probably pure escapism. I have chronic depression and anxiety and these audios get me out of the negative headspace for awhile. They're very therapeutic for me. I also am a sucker for a good voice and Bad Fantasy has one of the most beautiful, desirable, sophisticated voices I've found. I only listen to audios by creators whose voices appeal to me. Out of several dozen I've given a chance, less than 10 have made the cut for me. Lol I do enjoy the stories as well. It's always interesting to hear what you'll come up with next. Believe it or not, I rarely get off to these audios, even though they are extremely arousing. I mostly enjoy closing my eyes, putting my ear buds in, and going along with the fantasy ride BF paints for us. Picturing myself in the story with him is a very intense experience. And I definitely get wet as fuck. I guess I feel like actually masturbating during the audio would take away too much attention and I'm 100% invested in these audios. 😁 It's honestly just a wonderful, sexy secret hobby of mine to come home, lay down in bed and let Bad Fantasy take me away for awhile. All of the above. I'm single. If I'm to be in a relationship, its going to be with someone who's worth a damn. But unfortunately, there's no one around at the moment. I like to listen to your audios to live an fantasy for some moments to feel sexually wanted and adored. Fascinating! And it doesn't sound stupid at all, I think lots of people have weird little quirks in how we find our motivation. If it works, it's not stupid. Also, I had to Google what the Freshman 25 was. When Australians move to London like myself, there's something we call the 'Heathrow Injection', which refers to the weight you put on shortly after you land at Heathrow Airport. It definitely happened to me. Right now I try to use the background photos of myself on these audios as motivation to stay fit!
