Then everything came to a sudden stop.

I’m not sure whether it was an elbow or the back of her head, but something slipped from my hold and it hit my face so hard I was sure my brain leaped out of the back side of my skull, knocking me flat into the ground.

Nyx was now free.

And she was furious.

Lifting herself through sheer violence, she kicked Baram off her chest, dropping her cocky ass back down on the ground in an award position that she could take advantage off.

I saw her lunge forward, fist connecting with Baram’s cheek. Her guard coming up one second too late. Nyx roars, left hand checking Baram’s guard and quickly following up with a second vicious strike to the breast. Baram tries to roll away, but Nyx grabs onto her neck just in time for a third strike connect with Baram’s stomach forcing a scream out of the idol.

Nyx felt humiliated and her eyes burned with a thirst for revenge.
