Operation: Rising Star is finally here and I'm super excited to finally share this with all of you. This special little piece was both a joy and a challenge for me. On one hand I was able to put into images and text a wild story that I've had stuck in my mind for a long time. On the other hand ... I punched myself in the nuts with a highly complex scene with many, many, MANY moving parts.

But I HAD to do it, regardless.

I grew up watching Tokusatsu shows as a kid and due to my professional background with the film industry, I always had a fascination for the world behind the cameras in shows like these. So ultimately, the two elements combined into this wild ride - with Baram at the lead, as I always envisioned her as this multi-talented idol who gets pulled into the craziest situations. Action first, think later right?

And that's essentially how I took on this mission, knowing where I wanted to go with it, but unsure of what challenges I'd face in the process. But I'd say we pulled through successfully, learning many valuable lessons on the way, developing new techniques and optimizing the workflow even more.

So once more I have to thank YOU for your support. Not only do you make this journey possible. You also make it worthwhile.
