Bleach TYBW Episode 33 is a genuinely incredible episode, featuring an insane new fight, as well as setting up other battles to come. The Wahrwelt Arc is off to a very strong start!

So a while ago, they announced that the child voice actors for Bazz-B and Jugram (who they haven't revealed yet) would be at Jump Festa. The panel is at the end of December (22nd), so it would be right around the end of this cour. Renjis powers are so cool, he deserves that fight. Uryu is cool as hell as the antagonist. Gerard scrscreaming for them all to attack, Askin being genuinely hilarious is all so good. Plus it looks like we get Ichigo/Grimmjow v Askin. Funniest part of the episode to me is Nemu "I feel nothing"

I'm wondering why the ending was in reverse. A nod to Uryus schrift? Or maybe a tease that Shinji will do something next week?

Oh my goodness this reaction was amazing! I felt the same emotions you did when I watched it this morning. One question I haven’t been able to really answer myself is. Why didn’t uryu’s skla vari didn’t tear the flesh of others in the area like the (can’t spell name) Jail sternritter peeled the flesh of orihime/chad and even the hollows? Was it truly just the closeness in ability that didn’t allow uryu to take renji’s reshi? Or was it mercy? 👀
