They really didn't have to make Pernida wave all the time with this CG. ToT

CG was hit or miss. I'm mostly scared because of what they might do with Gerard. Good episode overall, 8/10 I'd say. I actually really like Pernida's voice. He has Broly's VA, and since Mayuri has Frieza's VA, it felt like a Broly vs Frieza in a way lmao I also am not sure how I feel about them splitting fights up. Will have to see.

With regards to the CGI here, I'm of 2 minds about it. From this episode alone I'm not sold on it, however I will add that I'm hoping there are a lot of dynamic motion shots in the second half of the fight that can justify it. Otherwise I feel like some of the appeal has been lost on me here

I finally convinced my parents to watch a episode of the new bleach sat day. And we watched this…. Oh my goodness their faces where constantly showing a crazy range of emotions. I hope they watch a better one with me next time. On the episode itself. I absolutely ADORE how violent and just. Horrific they depicted pernidas ability. They didn’t hold back and I really respect them for that. On pernida itself. Take note. It actually went from a voice like a child. And as it grew extremely quickly it’s voice also became more mature and deep. It’s nerves animations are more fluid than I Remeber in the manga. The nerve where more blocky in the manga like blut. I actually prefer this rather than the blocky in the manga. It differentiates itself from the Quincy blut and shows that this is a soul king ability not a Quincy. Also. I absolutely ADORED mayrui’s shoe tap sounds. The small ring are so smooth and nice. Something I am wondering is that. Pernida had a vollstandish when yhwach used aüshwalen. Will we see it again? What will it be able to do?

I have a hunch that they are going to change the ending of the Mayuri fight, which is why they are moving on to the next fight.

Second comment because I have more too say. Pernida’s CGI is weird. But I prefer the consistency of it rather then swapping from CGI to drawing over and over. I like it stays CGI It swings like a tree. It’s roots are dug into the ground. I remember it was shown at one point I believe. It used the “roots” for stability and able to attack anyone that touches the ground. I like the potential lore reason of pernida moving around constantly. It’s the arm of advancement. It is never going to stay still. It just. CAN’T. It’s against pernida’s nature. It’s like it has ADHD or something lmao. (However I admit. Pernida being able to sit still in his cloak is a point against that) I absolutely adore mayuri’s shoes. The sounds they make are so beautiful. Both when he flies and the bright light shoe. Sounds like glass. It’s lovely. Mayrui’s bankai however I am both amazed and a little bummed. I really wish we heard and saw how it worked with the sailzoporo (name spelling EHH) espada. I wanted to see it with it’s glowing red and hearing a hum of the baby. Reflecting off the smile of mayuri’s face. But otherwise it absolutely grossed the heck out of my parents. My mom especially. She said in sync with the characters “what the hell is that” I couldn’t help but laugh. And just him being his weird self. Being able to swing around and do SURGERY? It was very surprising. I Remeber pernida having a vollstandish during the aüshwalen. I really hope (I spelt that right) we see it. And what abilities it could possibly have. I am absolutely in LOVE with how pernida turned from one finger and started running and turned into a new arm. Oh my GOD. it was so amazingly done. I think the colour change was either because of the shadow of the buildings. Or white nerves changing when it comes into contact with anything after leaving pernida himself. (The umbrella turns it white. The floor. The walls. Ect) With the next episode being about kyoraku I’m pretty sure I heard them saying that they are going to cut from fight to fight. I am scared that we may be getting another pillar fights or hueco mundo arc type fights. Nevertheless as long as it isn’t constantly ending on cliffhangers I’ll be okay. I wanna see all of kyorakus bankai instead of “bankai” and roll credits. If they do it will it will be awesome. If they don’t that will be a pretty huge blunder for me. It worked amazingly in the second cour with ichibe vs yhwach and 0 squad vs the (shutstaffle?) Quincy’s. It worked because it gave both ample time to develop and it was only two fights. If it’s going to be like. 5 or 6 fights constantly swapping? It will be. Weird. My favourite parts of it all has too be the running finger and pernida’s voice. His voice just. MAKES SENSE for me. however. I admit. I didn’t expect it to sound so… human? But the fact it is Advancing quickly over and over makes it’s voice work for me. And ofc. The fact pernida didn’t think about the blood going in his eye was pretty funny for me.

I have a theory that Pernida did not have a physical form under the cloak. And the screaming is because he's never felt pain since becoming sentient

Also... What if the maiyuri flight finishes up in the first half next week .. And the Shunsui fight begins in the second half. Maybe that could be two and a half episodes
