Changing the monthly image reward tier (Patreon)

Monthly rewards sadly tend to be the type of perk a lot of artists eventually drop and I had this on offer for a long time, but it came to a point they barely brought any creative joy. Only the Big Blue Appreciator will be receiving an image reward, I can deal with one a month.

What now?

I reduced the same tier from $45 to $30 (but upped the slots to 10) and it grants you immunity from suggestion thread cooldowns. If I draw your idea, instead of waiting two months, you can suggest another one the month after. Theoretically, you can get art from me, monthly at this tier.

Why not just keep the old system?

Flexibility. Drawing a monthly reward for the same people for months has perks but creatively it's a pitfall. I'd rather have a richer pool of ideas to pick from.

I'm reluctant from participating in monthly suggestion threads... what if I never get picked?

The goal of Patreon is for you to financially support artists so they can create without restrictions. It's too easy to make one's Patreon into 2nd rate commissions site. I seek and desire reprieve from commissioned work.

You can ask me about my commissions! I never felt people would discover my commissions through Patreon, it tends to be the other way around, but I prolly should advertise when I'm open on here.

tl;dr You are paying for your patronage, everything I offer such as polls, suggestion threads, etc. is a way to give back to the community by letting them steer at the helm a lil. As a treat!
