So I agree that it’s the Mom who’s the masters but I disagree that it clears the secretary , I still maintain that he’s an accomplice. I think they need the secretary to shadow ML’s every moment.

Loving this show and your reactions!! I think it’s the mom. She resents saeon for his success as her fake son and doesn’t like or care about heejoo either. She tried to get rid of heejoo so saeon could feel her pain. The orphanage had a different name in the past, maybe the old management was shady enough to sell them a replacement child and secretly hide away the real son for them. This abandonment/isolation probably triggered his psycho tendencies on the other orphans. The orphanage was near their house so she likely kept covert tabs on him and she had to cover his crimes up. She was on edge reading about the bombing seeing her son was going rogue. She knows allll the family dirt. She’s composed and calculating in public or infront of saeon but alone she lashes out too.

I really don’t think its the secretary or at least I REALLY hope not lol. He only got portions of the calls from saeon so he doesn’t know anything about his personal life or who his wife is, and didn’t seem to be sus at all around heejoo when she joined the team. He’s asked saeon a few times to give him more info so he can help him better. The kidnappers told heejoo to keep calling thinking she was on their side. Why would he analyze the voices and tell saeon right away that they matched? The way he chased down the other arsonist showed he was willing to put his own safety at risk to solve this for saeon. I think he cares about saeon. Also songwoo would never do anything to hurt heejoo. He’s been in love with her for ages and even learned to sign for her.
