[PATRONS] Got a little something for ya here! Though I am on my honeymoon right now, I am so awesome that I decided to drop this baby which I've been saving up for some time. It's a good 'un, and it looks at a really interesting question, that being, To What Extent Did the Genocidal Policies of the German Empire in South West Africa Influence the Later Genocidal Policies of the Third Reich? Quite a mouthful isn't it!? Trust me though, it's a really interesting question! I hope you enjoy it my lovely Patrons, we're only a week away from this incredible 5th birthday party, mad as that sounds, so I hope you're ready for that as well!

Remember to tweet me @wdfpodcast and let me know what you thought of the episode, and if you're feeling nice, wish me a happy honeymoon, since I'll be sipping espresso on our balcony in Lake Como by the time you read this, and it's because of your support that I'll be able to buy myself another espresso or 6! You guys are awesome, and thanksss for joining me at this incredible time in my life, I really appreciate each and every one of you, and I feel so incredibly blessed to be here. I am in bliss. So thankssss for making that possible!

Much love,

Zack

Excellent podcast, very interesting subject matter considering I am just starting reading/listening to African Kaiser: General Paul von Lettow-Vorbeck and the Great War in Africa, 1914-1918. Fantastic book about a section of WW1 history I never really learned enough about (much like your July Crisis miniseries). Quick question, what is the source of the music at the beginning? It seems so familiar.
