Chapter Six – The Lucky One

“Your mom is so convinced that we spend way too much time indoors,” Maddox said as he caressed Jonathan’s flank slowly. They were sweaty and wasted after enjoying an afternoon quickie.

“Well, as a mom, she can’t be right about everything,” Jonathan replied sleepily. “But you know she might insist you take part in some outdoor activities.”

Maddox straightened up and then hovered, until he made his fiancé open his eyes. “I have an idea. It is a brilliant idea even.”

“For real? And it can’t wait until we both get our strength back?”

Maddox laughed and brushed his nose against Jonathan’s playfully. “Come on, you’re turning into a slob, and your mom might be right. It will cost you only like half a minute of your precious time of basking in the afterglow.”

“Hmm,” Jonathan purred, “I like it when you get all poetic like that. Go ahead. What’s your brilliant idea?”

“It’s going to be a while until we see our buddies again. And since they’re so busy and they won’t be here until the weddings are right around the corner, how about we get in the car and go see them?”

“And by buddies, you mean…”

“We should start with Rusty and Matty, obviously. Even if they aren’t expecting us, I bet they’ll love the surprise.”

“So, we should do the unthinkable, and visit without announcing ourselves first? It’s beyond the pale, Mr. Kingsley-Hamilton.”

“What a mouthful,” Maddox purred in turn, “I like it.”

Jonathan’s eyelids fluttered briefly. Even though they had just finished enjoying each other, that didn’t mean that they weren’t ready for another round. Still, Maddox wanted to tease his sexy man by not letting him have it all the time. So, he jumped out of bed and headed toward the bathroom, making sure to swing his hips and throw Jonathan a knowing look over his shoulder.

The look in the attractive amber eyes left no room for interpretation. Teasing was a game they could both play. Jonathan rolled to his side and propped his head on his palm, his arm bent at the elbow, while the sheet covered very little of his perfect body. He looked like he belonged in a painting. A very erotic painting.

“What?” Jonathan said, his voice thick and playful. “Weren’t you going somewhere?”

“I think it can wait,” Maddox said promptly and rushed back to bed, jumping on his fiancé and covering him head to toes. The sheet was between them, but it was barely an obstacle that couldn’t hold either of them back. However, it provided a bit of extra stimulation, and because he couldn’t reach the other too easily, it made him hornier.

Jonathan made a move to pull the sheet away, but Maddox stopped him by catching his wrists and holding them above his head. Then, he leaned forward and captured his lover’s enticing lips in a kiss.

“Wouldn’t it be easier if--”

“And who wants easy, Hamilton?” Maddox teased him. “Sorry, like you just addressed me, Mr. Kingsley-Hamilton. If I’d wanted easy, I wouldn’t have chased you until you surrendered.”

“Fair point. So how do you expect either of us to achieve any satisfaction?”

“Oh, that’s simple. We just do our thing and see.”

The sheet was becoming a bit moist between them, and Maddox could make out the shape of the hard cock against which he was rubbing himself in earnest.

“It looks like having good quality sheets is conducive to a healthy and satisfying sex life,” he remarked out loud before catching Jonathan’s bottom lip between his teeth and torturing it until he earned a soft moan of warning from his victim. “They should put it in their commercials.”

“I’m sure they’d receive a suggestion like that and run with it,” Jonathan replied and then pulled him down hard, making their mouths clash.

It was sort of a mess afterward. Maddox used his upper body strength to hold himself in the desired position so that he could properly rub against Jonathan, and everywhere their skin touched, it felt like electric sparks were exchanged. The sensation of hard nipples against his chest, the way their supple muscles met, already wet with fresh sweat, and the pleasureful pain of not being able to feel the cock his cock touched only contributed to the delightful torment.

“I don’t think I can keep going like this, it’s too frustrating,” Jonathan confessed.

“Ha! I made you give up first,” Maddox said with unhidden glee and then smirked against the lips he’d been kissing like a madman until only earlier.

“Don’t tease me!” Jonathan protested. “Aren’t you going to do something about it? I remember quite distinctly that you said we will experience satisfaction.”

“Hmm, are you sure?” Maddox drawled as he began pushing himself downward, his eyes never leaving Jonathan’s. “Maybe I wanted to leave you high and dry. Like this,” he said and grabbed his fiancé’s cock through the sheet, enjoying the way the thing pulsed in his hand like it had a life of its own.

Jonathan growled in frustration and threw one arm over his eyes. “You’re such an arrogant prick sometimes, I swear.”

“Well, I’ll take it.” Maddox placed himself comfortably between the graceful thighs of his lover and began to blow hot air over the throbbing mushroom head wrapped in the sheet.

Jonathan pushed himself up on his elbow to look at him. “What are you doing there?”

“Dunno, trying new things?”

“I don’t think that’s going to work.”

“I beg to differ,” Maddox said.

“Damn, you are so sure of yourself.”

“As if you don’t know me,” Maddox joked. He began rubbing Jonathan’s cock, teasing it with streams of air from his mouth from all sides.

“You know, you look really good down there. But the time for your little experiment has come to an end.” Jonathan pushed one hand through Maddox’s hair and then pulled at it, hard enough to make his point. “Suck me off, or I’ll spank you until you cry.”

“Make me.”

“You asked for it.”

Their little game of soft dominance always worked wonders. Maddox pretended to choke, making lewd sounds while Jonathan, after freeing his cock from the sheet, began feeding that delicious thing to him like it was all he needed.

In the whole world, he was the only one who could make Jonathan feel like that. The cold fish other people thought the young Hamilton to be disappeared in flames when Maddox touched him. Even when they were in polite company, and he only brushed his fingers against his lover’s smooth hand, Jonathan’s eyes softened and filled with a new light as he turned his head to look at him, an unspoken question in them.

“I’m so crazy in love with you,” he whispered when Jonathan allowed him a chance to breathe.

And when he said that, the question disappeared. Wasn’t he supposed to be the lucky one, scoring a guy like that? It was their little secret, and Jonathan always let him know in many different ways that he considered himself the lucky one.

“Awesome to know. How about you get back to work now?” Jonathan challenged him, flashing a gorgeous smile at him.

Maddox winked and licked his lips. “I don’t know. What’s my reward?”

“A mouth full of milk?” Jonathan grinned and began pushing him again, to make him take it.

“Milk? Come on, man, tell it like it is.”

Jonathan’s face reddened slightly, as his cock jerked a smidge. “Come have my cum, you naughty boy.”

And damn, when he used that haughty tone with him, Maddox was ready to jizz himself. The only thing he could do was to rub his cock against the sheets underneath him and hope for the best. After all, he had started this little game of teasing, and his intention wasn’t to make Jonathan wait, or to make this about himself.

He filled his mouth to the brim with the nice cock in front of him. Jonathan pressed him down only as far as he could take it, and even that little act of possession, of taking him in hand, was so damned arousing that he couldn’t help himself. A series of soft moans danced along his tongue as he pleasured his lover, and he continued to push his aching cock against the soft surface under him to no avail.

“Be a good boy,” Jonathan whispered at him, “and I’ll take care of your little problem later.”

There was no point in protesting and saying that his problem wasn’t anywhere near described by the word ‘little’. After all, the joke was on him. He moved his head desperately to give Jonathan a proper blowjob until he felt his mouth being filled. For all his enthusiasm, it looked like he had overextended himself a bit. He choked, and not for show, so Jonathan pushed him back and let him breathe, letting the rest land on his face.

He didn’t protest as Jonathan helped him turn and then held him flush against his chest. He looked down at the way his fiancé’s skilled hands wrapped around his hardness and began rubbing it fast. It was just what he needed, the perfect rhythm, soon he began coming, his cock exploding as if it hadn’t got any only half an hour earlier.

The taste of Jonathan’s cum lingered on his lips and tongue as he came down from the high of his release.

“Damn, babe,” he mumbled. “You always make me come undone like this.”

Jonathan kissed his damp cheek. “You shouldn’t be so surprised. After all, you’re the one shaking his tail in front of me all the time, driving me nuts. And now, how about we take a shower together?”

“But I’m tired, and I want to sleep,” Maddox complained.

“And I thought you were so energetic only a little while ago,” Jonathan scolded him playfully. “Come on, I can’t let you go back to sleep in these messy sheets.”

He laughed and let himself be dragged out of bed. Of course, he had no reason to make it easy for Jonathan and laughed like a madman when his fiancé finally had it with him and carried him bridal-style to the bathroom.

“It’s only for the weekend, and then we will be back,” Jonathan said to his mom after giving her the news that he and Maddox were going to visit Rusty and Matty.

“Very good. I always say that you two spend too much time indoors,” Francine replied with a nod.

Jonathan kept a straight face as Maddox brushed his foot against his under the table.

“I suppose it won’t be too much if I ask you to tell that child that I’m not very pleased with him.”

“That child is Rusty?” Jonathan inquired, because he simply enjoyed his mom’s rants when it came to the former king and kinkster of Sunny Hill.

“Of course. If he listened to me, he’d have his pick from so many places. More prestigious places.”

“You know how he likes to do things his way. Also, he thinks that he’s already too indebted to you. Don’t add to the pile, or he might end up resenting you.”

“He would be free to resent me, and he would be doing it from the most famous opera stages of the world. That would please me greatly.”

“Come on, mom,” Jonathan said with a smile, “you don’t want that. I’m not talking about the part with the opera stages of the world, but about him resenting you.”

Francine smiled, but it was one of the smiles that told him she was planning something. “Yes, you are correct. But I am still a little miffed at his refusal to accept more help from me.”

“I heard that he talked to Mrs. May about getting another vocal coach. From the company there,” Maddox intervened. “Is Mrs. May upset with him now?”

“Not at all.” Francine waved. “Emile Davis is a well-known name in the industry.”

“So, it’s okay that he’s training with this new guy now?” Maddox continued.

“Yes.”

“By the way,” Jonathan interjected, “if Mr. Davis is there, with the small company that hired Rusty temporarily, that means that they’re not so small after all, right?”

Francine pursed her lips. “Well, they are small. Emile Davis has his own reasons for casting his benevolence upon such enterprises. Although only he knows what they are.”

“It seems to me like there’s a story there,” Maddox said.

“No story,” Francine replied right away. “Let’s just say that it will be my pleasure to let Emile know that this time I discovered this wunderkind before he did.”

“Emile, huh?” Jonathan teased. “I sense a little bit of a competitive streak. Apologies, the famous competitive streak that ran through the Hamiltons.”

“It’s a small world, after all. How do you know this Mr. Davis, Francine?” Maddox asked.

“As I mentioned, his is a well-known name. We’ve never met in person, because he seems to always be busy with building small companies from the ground up. When I heard where Rusty planned to audition, I have to admit that I was waiting for the outcome with bated breath. If Emile had rejected Rusty, I would have had to have a word with him. In person, this time around.”

“So,” Jonathan said slowly, “you’re calling him by his first name, although you say that you two have never met. What gives, mom?”

“Let’s say we’ve had our fair share of… how should I put this? Yes, a little bit of sparring in this field. I have an ear for new voices, and he has antagonized me often enough in certain online spaces.”

“Wow, Mrs. H,” Maddox said. “Are you telling me you and this guy were involved in some Internet drama?”

Francine scrunched up her nose to show that such petty things were beneath her. “Well, I’m a busy person, I can’t fight all my battles face to face, although I’d like to.”

“Wait, how exactly do you plan to rub this in Mr. Davis’s face?” Jonathan said, as his mom’s words finally caught up with him.

“I’ll find a way,” Francine replied from the tip of her lips.

Ah, his mom was planning something. But what? He exchanged a glance with Maddox. It looked like his fiancé was thinking about the same thing.

“You know, I’ve always loved road trips,” Maddox confessed as soon as they were in the car and ready to head out to see Rusty and Matty. “But I think I’m going to love this one even more, because it’s with you.”

“Come on, we’ve been on trips before,” Jonathan said with a smile as he fastened his seatbelt. Although they both knew how to drive, there was no actual contest between the two of them. Jonathan simply preferred him behind the wheel.

“This so reminds me of that time during junior year when I took you to that pizza place.”

“Oh, yes, it’s not exactly an easy memory to forget.”

“Is that all you have to say about it?”

Jonathan grabbed his head and kissed him briefly. “I’m only teasing you. How could I forget that? You practically blew my mind.”

“Smartass,” Maddox said with a grin, kicking the engine into gear. “If I didn’t know any better, I’d say you’re getting good at this.”

“Oh, so I suck.”

“Big time, baby, big time.”

“All right, since we’ve gotten that out of the way, do you think Rusty and Matty will mind us taking them by surprise like this?”

“Rusty lives for surprises. Matty lives for whatever Rusty lives for. I think we’re safe. With Rusty being his usual bratty self, I expect some teasing, but Matty is going to keep him in line.”

“They’re good for each other. I have to admit that, at one point, I was worried that Rusty might give up on the one person that liked him more than everyone else. I mean, Matty both worships Rusty and can, as you say, keep him in line when needed. That’s not an easy combination to find.”

“Should I be worried that you like Matty so much?” Maddox said and threw Jonathan a challenging look accompanied by a smirk.

“You should never get worried about me liking anyone, no matter how much. There’s no one I like more than you.”

“Ah, so you only like me, then?”

Jonathan groaned and closed his eyes. “You’re milking me for compliments. Fine. I love you, Maddox Kingsley, and that’s why I’m going to put a ring on your finger so that you can never run away. By the way, I’m having the family lawyers put together the toughest prenup in history. If you ever leave me, I’m entitled to hunt you down, using any means necessary. So, make sure you know what you’re getting yourself into before you sign.”

“I’ll sign right now, give me that thing,” Maddox said and took Jonathan’s hand for a moment, taking the opportunity to sneak a little kiss on it.

“I’m obviously joking. But, just in case it isn’t clear to you. You’re not allowed to ever leave me, because my spirit will haunt you. I’m getting training in the field of the occult. I’ll make it happen.”

“I’ve never pegged you for a joker. And yet, here you are, telling me all of these funny things.”

“Yes. And you shouldn’t be surprised in the least. It’s perfectly natural to change when you’re in love. As all of the songs say. Love songs, that is,” Jonathan added by way of explanation.

“Yeah, but they’re obviously biased, because that’s what they’re selling.”

“Well, as long as it rings true.”

Maddox couldn’t agree more.

“So,” Jonathan said, “when are we going to call to let them know we’re dropping by in style? We should make sure that they’re home at least or not in the middle of the same thing that’s been keeping us busy for the last couple of months every day--”

“—and night,” Maddox completed his lover’s words. “We’re not going to the address Rusty gave us. He’s performing tonight, and we’re going there first to be his biggest cheerleaders.”

Jonathan opened his eyes wide. “Why didn’t you tell me that before?”

“Maybe I know you like surprises, too. Also, I only found out while we were having lunch with your mom. I didn’t want to let the cat out of the bag in front of her.”

“Okay, good call,” Jonathan replied and gave him a thumbs-up. “I can hardly wait to see our genius in action.”
