Hm, so I know I got some pushback regarding my decision to make Bellatrix an ally of Harry in this fic, though I think in turn that most people have come around to that by now. That said...

With Chapter 4 just going live (go read it if you haven't yet) and next time being the release of Chapter 1 to the public, let me know if you think Lightning Strikes Twice deserves to continue on down below.

Also, let me know what you're liking about the story so far, what you're not liking about the story so far, AND what you want to see going forward in this story. Won't deny it, been leaning on you guys a lot for these early chapters of pretty much all six of my new stories. Your ideas might not all make it into every fic, but having your feedback still means the world to me.

Anyways, that's all I've got to say. Fingers crossed that Lightning Strikes Twice continues to entertain for some time to come!

Hey Cam, in a bit of cosmic irony wouldn't it be nice if in addition to the smut that is incoming and the justice that will likely follow, wouldn't it be lovely to have Harry come up with a way to consume the magic of others? He has the ritual for turning someone into a magic battery sure but that's for the willing. Can you imagine the horror on the faces of the "elite" if the boy who lived found a way to strip them of their magic? Like a variant of the ritual, not super efficient, it only gives him half to thirty percent but it's far quicker and doesn't require their consent. I'd love to see the horrors that a desperate man can conceive of in his efforts to stop the death of magic.

Personally, I'm fine either way, but HP is a fandom that again has so many plotlines presented, that finding something completely new here is borderline impossible. Bellatrix angle is pretty interesting though ;).

Harry could totally use such a thing to set a magic stealing/sharing pyramid scheme as well. Use knowledge of how to perform such a ritual as a reward that is exclusively granted to his followers who are willing participants in the magic battery ritual. At the end of the day, Harry will be the one that profits from those witches using such a ritual. After all, he will basically be paying them with a method of eliminating his enemies for him in such a way that they also end up making themselves a better, higher-capacity battery for him to use in turn.

Personally, due to my own chaotic personality bellatrix is one of my favourite characters so I am happy with the inclusion of her in and hp fanfic.
